Fourth-quarter TD pass seals win for Foothill

Foothill's Algernon Sewell rushed for 174 yards on 34 carries and scored two touchdowns to help the Falcons (3-4, 1-2 Southeast) regain the El Camino bell with a 21-17 road win over rival Silverado (4-3, 1-3) on Friday.

The fourth quarter started with the Skyhawks leading 17-14. But Aaron Dupin completed a 20-yard touchdown pass to F.J. Funtila with 10:19 to play to put Foothill up for good.

A stagnant offense that only managed 96 yards of total offense, hindered Silverado.

But the Skyhawks defense and special teams each scored a touchdown, keeping the team in the game.

Terran Madu-jules led Silverado with 44 yards on nine carries.
