Liberty junior pitcher Nicholas Blakeney helped the Patriots to three wins last week to earn Nevada Preps Boys Athlete of the Week honors.

The spring sports season was limited to six weeks, with some teams’ seasons even shorter because of COVID, but players and coaches were just happy to get back on the field.
