ROUNDUP: Triple-OT win at 135 helps Bengals to rout

Seth Clucas’ triple-overtime victory over Pahrump Valley’s Christopher Demille at 135 pounds highlighted Bonanza’s 43-15 home victory over the Trojans on Thursday.

Michael Zellner (103 pounds), Shaun Kenny (140) and Miguel Castro (215) each had pins for the Bengals.

Bonanza won five matches by four or fewer points, including Clucas’ 4-2 win over Demille.

Foothill 51, Silverado 27 — At Liberty, the Falcons won six matches by pin to down the Skyhawks.

Frankie Roman (119), Joel Olvias (125), Chad Orum (130), Xavier Brown (135), Alek Bowles (145) and Joey Biaggi (152) each had a pin for Foothill.

Bowles won his match in just 38 seconds.

Las Vegas 72, Desert Pines 6 — At Las Vegas, the Wildcats won all but one of the 14 weight classes in a rout of Desert Pines.

Nathan Garcia (103), De’Armon Hall (112), Brett Sampson (119), Hugo Carrillo (125), Jeremy Dailey (135), Tyler Pack (145), Roman Garcia (160), Jonathan Hales (171), David Prieto (189) and Madison Hales (285) each recorded a pin for the Wildcats.

Eldorado 63, Chaparral 12 — At Eldorado, the Sundevils won four contested matches and collected six forfeit wins to down the Cowboys.

Sergio Lopez (119), Cole Price (135) and DeAndre Smith (189) won by pin for Eldorado. Mike Williams (285) also was a winner by decision.

Canyon Springs 42, Eldorado 38 — At Eldorado, the Pioneers recorded four pins and three forfeit wins to nip the Sundevils.

Josh Bergueno (189) had the fastest of Canyon Springs’ pins in 1:09.

Andrew Huibregste (103), Lopez (112), Fernando Duran-Price (140), Odarius Mitchell (152) and Smith (171) won by pin for Eldorado.

Centennial 44, Cheyenne 28 — At Cheyenne, the Bulldogs won three matches by pin to defeat the Desert Shields.

Centennial 41, Shadow Ridge 27 — At Cheyenne, the Bulldogs won three matches by pin to defeat the Mustangs.

Centennial was especially strong in the upper weights, capturing the heaviest three classes.

Shadow Ridge 36, Cheyenne 24 — At Cheyenne, the Mustangs had four pins to beat the Desert Shields.

Liberty 49, Foothill 20 — At Liberty, the Patriots put together four pins and three wins by forfeit to beat the Falcons.

Liberty 54, Silverado 24 — At Liberty, three Patriots wrestlers finished the double dual with two victories each.

Liberty’s Michael Reveles (135), Rudy Reveles (140) and Anthony Terrell (145) each went 2-0 on the day.

Canyon Springs 78, Chaparral 0 — At Eldorado, the Pioneers shut out the Cowboys, who forfeited six matches.
