VOLLEYBALL: Lions go 6-0 to win Pahrump Valley Invitational

Brooke Davis had 20 assists and six digs, and Deja Harris added 11 kills, three aces and three blocks to lift Calvary Chapel's girls volleyball team past Pahranagat Valley, 25-17, 25-14 in the championship match of the Pahrump Valley Invitational on Saturday.

Alexis Harris added five kills and four digs, and Athena Lewis had six digs for the Lions, who went 6-0 in the tournament.

Calvary Chapel 2, Cheyenne 0 — At Pahrump, Brooke Davis had 17 assists, six aces and four digs as the Lions rolled over the Desert Shields, 25-8, 25-9 in a semifinal.

Deja Harris had six kills, and Lexi Davis added six digs for Calvary Chapel, which got four aces from Alexis Harris and four kills from Jamie Mejia.

Calvary Chapel 2, Agassi Prep 0 — At Pahrump, Brooke Davis had 11 assists, and Lewis served four aces in the Lions' 25-9, 25-9 win over the Stars in the quarterfinals.

Deja Harris had seven kills and three blocks for Calvary Chapel.

Calvary Chapel 2, Pahrump Valley JV 0 — At Pahrump, Deja Harris and Alexis Harris each had seven kills to help the Lions to a 25-9, 25-17 win over the Trojans' junior varsity.

Brooke Davis had 18 assists, and Sara Hernandez and Lexi Davis each supplied five digs for Calvary Chapel.

Calvary Chapel 2, Pahranagat Valley 0 — At Pahrump, Brooke Davis had 23 assists, seven digs and three aces as the Lions tamed the Panthers, 26-24, 25-11 in pool play.

Deja Harris had 12 kills, four digs and two aces, and Lewis supplied nine digs for Calvary Chapel, which got five kills each from Jamie Mejia and Alexis Harris and six digs from Allison Brown.

Calvary Chapel 2, Del Sol JV 0 — At Pahrump, Brooke Davis had seven assists and eight aces as the Lions began the day with a 25-5, 25-6 sweep of the Dragons' junior varsity.

Lewis served four aces for Calvary Chapel.

Sandy Valley 3, Beaver Dam (Ariz.) 0 – At Sandy Valley, the Sidewinders rolled to a 25-14, 25-14, 25-11 sweep of the Diamondbacks.
