VOLLEYBALL: Kirschbaum leads Cowboys over Dragons

Hannah Kirschbaum had seven kills and four aces Wednesday to help Chaparral’s girls volleyball team to a 25-11, 15-25, 25-19, 25-16 win at Del Sol.

Anais Servis added four kills and four aces, and Abi Morales had four aces and two kills for the Cowboys.

Christina Lancaster had 10 aces and nine assists to pace the Dragons. Taylor Curtis added nine kills and six assists, and Azhwalaee Oliver supplied seven kills and 16 digs for Del Sol. Sierra Morales had 41 digs and six kills, and Christy Patinio contributed 35 digs for the Dragons.

Durango 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Trea Ortega had 14 kills and eight digs, and Gabby Morgan served four aces to help the Trailblazers sweep the Chargers 25-17, 25-12, 25-17.

Kat Jaksic added three blocks for Durango.

June Roberts and Emi Atanoa each had seven kills for Clark.

Coronado 3, Silverado 0 — At Silverado, Berkeley Oblad had nine kills and four blocks, and Brooke Garlick added five kills, nine digs and two aces to help the Cougars to a 25-15, 25-15, 25-14 win over the Skyhawks.

Cali Thompson had 21 assists and three aces, and Alyce Bender supplied 10 digs for Coronado.

Melanie Srok paced Silverado with five kills and six digs. Morgan Little had 20 assists, and Tawney Griffin had six digs for the Skyhawks, who got four kills apiece from Amari Norris and Mackenzie Carter.

Bishop Gorman 3, Pine View (Utah) 0 — At Gorman, Makena Sherwood had 14 assists to lead the Gaels to a 25-14, 25-14, 25-11 victory over Pine View.

Victoria Ewalefo added down nine kills, and Victoria Harris supplied five kills for Gorman.

Moapa Valley 3, Eldorado 0 — At Overton, Makenzie Bush had 10 kills, and Delia Rubio added seven aces as the Pirates swept the Sundevils, 25-16, 25-23, 25-15.

Bailey Owens had seven kills, and Cheyenne Leavitt supplied four kills and four aces for Moapa Valley.
