VOLLEYBALL: Cathcart serves Hornets past Mountain View
Maggie Cathcart served 12 aces and had three kills and two digs to help Beatty's girls volleyball team to a 25-8, 25-9, 25-17 sweep of host Mountain View on Tuesday.
Dalia Mejia had six assists and four digs, and Vanessa Gamboa added three kills, four aces and five digs for the Hornets. Claudia Granados served four aces for Beatty.
Tayah De'Bouck had three kills, two assists and four digs, and Mia George added three kills and five digs for the Saints.
