Roundup: Sunrise Mountain defeats Eldorado in four sets

Daniela Robledo-Toribio had 37 digs and two aces to lead Sunrise Mountain’s girls volleyball team to a 25-13, 15-25, 25-9, 26-24 home win over Eldorado on Friday night.

Julia Miles added 10 kills and six aces, and Alyssa Guevara-Canales had 10 digs, three kills, and two aces for the Miners.

Jessica Olivero had 13 digs and two aces for Eldorado. Deanna Contreras had six digs and two kills, Ashley Alonso had seven digs, four kills and two aces for the Sundevils, who also got three kills, three aces and three blocks from Angela Valdez.

The Meadows 2-2, Needles 0-0 — At The Meadows, Mira Gollard had 17 assists to lead The Meadows to a victory in the opener of a doubleheader, 25-6, 25-10.

Dani Mason also had five kills, three aces, and seven digs, Vivian Pallares had five digs and three aces, Anna Dorn had four digs and three kills, and Beau Thistle had four kills, one dig, and one block.

In the nightcap, Ilana Cohen had 16 assists, three digs, and one ace as The Meadows defeated Needles, 25-4, 25-10.

Pallares (nine digs), Mason (six kills, four aces), Alexi-Rose Corrigan (four kills, two blocks) and Dina Kosyagin (four kills, two aces) also contributed for The Meadows.

Lincoln County 2-2, Mountain View 0-0 — At Mountain View, the Lynx swept a doubleheader from the Saints.

Indian Springs 3, Sandy Valley 1 — At Indian Springs, the Thunderbirds defeated the Sidewinders, 25-19, 23-25, 25-20, 28-26.

Tonopah 3, Round Mountain 1 — At Round Mountain, the Muckers were 25-16, 24-26, 25-10, 25-9 winners over the Knights.

Pahranagat Valley 3, Beaver Dam 0 — At Alamo, the Panthers swept the Diamondbacks, 25-13, 25-13, 25-21.
