Roundup: Spring Valley rallies to beat Tech

Simone Beane had 11 kills to help Spring Valley’s girls volleyball team rally from two sets down to earn a 19-25, 14-25, 25-11, 28-26, 15-8 home victory over Tech on Tuesday night.

Sanaa Lloyd added five kills and five blocks for the Grizzlies, who got six kills from Vaden Mangler.

Makenna Faught led Tech with eight assists, seven digs, four kills, and three aces. Karis Fernandez had nine kills, and Kaitlyn Harvey notched seven kills for the Roadrunners.

Desert Oasis 3, Foothill 2 — A Foothill, Nathalie Van recorded 34 assists, 10 digs and two aces, and Paige Parlanti tallied 16 kills, 11 digs and two blocks as the Diamondbacks rallied to stun the Falcons 17-25, 19-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-12.

Kierston-Joy Kuresa supplied 13 kills, six digs and five kills for Desert Oasis. Laynee Truscott had 33 assists, Brooke Bykowski had 11 kills and four blocks, and Riana Blount added 10 kills and four blocks for Foothill.

Coronado 3, Liberty 0 — At Coronado, McCallister Gayle had 10 kills and five blocks as the Cougars defeated the Patriots, 25-13, 25-21, 25-19.

Sasha Bolla added nine kills, and Cassandra Smits-Van Oyen had 19 assists, two kills and two digs for Coronado.

Sierra Vista 3, Clark 0 — At Sierra Vista, Matlyn Ua had 13 assists, and Caleyse Saunders had seven kills as the Mountain Lions swept the Chargers 25-9, 25-12, 25-11.

Peyton Castillo served five aces for Sierra Vista.

Coraly Dupree tallied four kills and two blocks, and Briannah Paras had four assists for Clark.

Bonanza 3, Western 1 — At Western, Sydney Evelyn Harner supplied 32 digs and four aces to help lift the Bengals to a 25-10, 23-25, 25-13, 25-14 win over the Warriors.

Camille Riggs led Western with six kills.

GV Christian 3, Innovations International 0 — At Innovations International, Scarlett Limon served 17 aces as the Guardians swept the Ambassadors, 25-16, 25-7, 25-13.

Sofia Gil added five assists and three aces for GV Christian.

Adelson School 2, Founders Academy 0 — At Adelson School, Dana Bluevise notched 13 aces, and teammate Elizabeth Gutierrez added 11 aces, as the Lions beat won 25-5, 25-6.

Somerset-Losee 3, Beaver Dam 0 — At Somerset-Losee, the Lions swept the Diamondbacks, 25-8, 25-12, 25-14.
