ROUNDUP: Scott carries Pahrump Valley to sweep of Clark
Arlette Scott had three kills, five assists and six aces to lead visiting Pahrump Valley to a 25-4, 25-11, 25-14 victory over Clark on Monday.
Ashley Lindgren added six assists for the Trojans. Kristi Daffer had five kills and Taylor Ball had four.
Bishop Gorman 3, Durango 0 — At Bishop Gorman, Danielle Diamant compiled 10 kills and three blocks to carry the Gaels over the Trailblazers, 25-19, 26-24, 25-18.
Liz Manthei had 18 assists and seven kills to help the Gaels. Kylee Chun also had six assists and three aces.
Hayley Spelman had 20 kills for the Trailblazers.
Sierra Vista 3, Western 0 — At Sierra Vista, Jamie Andersen had three kills and five aces to help the Mountain Lions down Western, 25-23, 25-19, 25-11.
Erika Reynada had 14 digs for Western.
Bonanza 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Bonanza, Tristan Hall and Shirley Pitts each spiked seven kills to lead the Bengals to a 25-15, 25-20, 25-10 victory over Spring Valley.
Christin Figgins added 19 digs for Bonanza.
Laura Perrie compiled 15 assists, two kills and three digs for the Grizzlies. Kylie Higgins added two kills and five digs.
Las Vegas 3, Eldorado 1 — At Eldorado, Danica Pickett supplied 11 digs, nine aces and eight kills to help Las Vegas earn a 25-11, 23-25, 25-3, 25-20 win over the Sundevils.
Natresha Bernard had 14 kills, two blocks, and six aces for the Wildcats. Tiffany Jackson had 26 assists, six digs, and five kills.
Candace Keele contributed 12 assists and four digs for Eldorado. Candace Watkins added three kills and three blocks.
Desert Pines 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Andrea Jefferson had six kills, and Nikki LaGesse added 10 assists as Desert Pines swept Canyon Springs, 25-21, 25-11, 25-11.
Rozia Bell had five aces for the Jaguars. Marica King led the Pioneers with seven kills and Kamisha Holley had six. Chelsey Chavez served five aces.
