ROUNDUP: Rancho tops Chaparral to take third place in Northeast

Tiffany Smith had 17 digs, and Aisha Momodu added 14 kills Tuesday as Rancho’s girls volleyball team swept visiting Chaparral, 25-17, 25-23, 25-19 to take sole possession of third place in the Northeast League.
Teyler Willams added seven kills for Rancho (10-10, 7-4 Northeast).
Carolina Reyes led Chaparral (7-11, 6-5) with 14 assists, four aces and three blocks.
Eldorado 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Sundevils beat the Miners 25-17, 25-14, 25-16.
Elise Marshall had two kills for Sunrise Mountain.
Las Vegas 3, Desert Pines 0— At Desert Pines, Tiffany Jackson had 18 assists and three aces, and Danica Pickett supplied eight kills and three digs as the Wildcats beat the Jaguars 25-20, 25-18, 25-21.
Desirae Lair added seven digs and four kills for Las Vegas.
Noemi Medrano had seven digs and Alyssa Turner led Desert Pines with six aces.
Valley 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Lenore Porter had 25 assists, five kills, four digs and three aces to help the Vikings to a 25-20, 25-10, 25-11 win against the Pioneers.
Maureen Aquino added 10 kills, six digs and five aces for Valley. Shanah Frankel added 10 digs, and Brianna Johnson had five kills, three aces and two blocks for the Vikings.
Silverado 3, Coronado 0 — At Silverado, Taylor Richard had 19 digs and 10 kills as the Skyhawks swept the Cougars 25-8, 25-12, 25-21.
Kaitlin Keathley had nine kills and two blocks, and Marilyn Agae added 24 assists for Silverado.
Kuulei Piema had six kills and two aces, and Kristen Herlosky had five kills and two aces for Coronado.
Green Valley 3, Tech 0 — At Jena Chavez had 16 aces and 11 assists to lead the Gators to a 25-5, 25-11, 25-6 sweep of the Roadrunners.
Julie Dramise and Carly Schiess each added six kills and Liz Groesbeck had five kills for the Gators.
Foothill 3, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Christina Nash dished 19 assists to lead the Falcons past the Patriots 25-13, 26-24, 25-22.
Rhianna Gelhart had eight kills and two aces, and Kelsey McFarland added three kills and seven aces for Foothill.
Phoebe Baker had 11 digs and six kills, and Amanda Delgado had 16 digs and seven kills for Liberty.
Basic 3, Del Sol 0— At Del Sol, Mikayla Bowen tallied 12 kills as Basic downed the Dragons, 25-16, 25-20, 30-28.
Jackie Foutz had four blocks and two kills, Tara Patchett supplied four kills and two aces for the Wolves.
Del Sol’s Kristen Hanks had 16 digs.
Palo Verde 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Palo Verde, Tori Lounsbery dished out 23 assists and Wendy Gueorgeiv had nine digs to lead the Panthers past the Desert Shields 25-16, 25-16, 25-14.
Ainsley Lovejoy added 10 kills and five aces for Palo Verde.
Moapa Valley 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, the Pirates swept the Diamondbacks 25-22, 25-23, 25-14.
Kelsey Motis had 10 kills and Pernile Svennson added 12 digs for Desert Oasis.
The Meadows 3, Pahranagat Valley 1 — At Alamo, Laura Walsh had 14 kills and 22 digs to help the Mustangs to a 25-17, 18-25, 25-16, 25-22 road win over Pahranagat Valley.
Vanessa Hall added 24 digs and dished 32 assists for The Meadows. Also for the Mustangs, Krystina Fong had 23 digs, Sinead Lopez 15 digs and Lindsie Kutcher 10 kills.
 
Dakota Day led Pahranagat Valley with 15 kills and six digs, and Haleie Lewis had 10 kills and 25 digs for the Panthers.
Trinity 3, Agassi Prep 1 — At Agassi Prep, Andrea Martinez had 17 digs, 20 kills and two aces to lead the Thunder past Agassi Prep 25-16, 27-25, 18-25, 25-12.
Sarah Njoroge had eight digs, five kills and two aces for Trinity. Hannah Niederoer added 10 digs and two aces.
Lake Mead 3, Henderson International 0 — At Henderson International, Ashley Newton had 16 kills, 10 digs and three aces to help Lake Mead down the Wolverines 25-17, 25-11, 25-16 in a non-league match.
Jocelyn Cox had 29 assists and four digs for the Eagles. Sam Herman added 10 kills, four aces and two blocks, and Amanda Wellman had seven kills, seven digs and three aces for Lake Mead.
Pamela Sakuma had six kills, and Lee Harrison had three kills and three blocks for Henderson International.
Laughlin 3, Indian Springs 1 — At Indian Springs, the Cougars were 25-13, 25-19, 30-32, 25-17 winners over the Thunderbirds.
Boulder City JV 3, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson School, Boulder City’s junior varsity team was a 25-14, 25-15, 25-18 winner over the Lions.
Melanie Warren had two kills for Adelson.
