ROUNDUP: Patterson helps Grizzlies take down Warriors

Tori Patterson dished out 12 assists and served four aces Friday to lead Spring Valley’s girls volleyball team to a 25-18, 25-21, 25-21 win at Western.

Nicole Rafay added eight blocks, five kills and two aces for the Grizzlies, and teammate Rachel Milam had six kills, two assists and two blocks.

Desert Oasis 3, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Pahrump, Kindra Stanfield racked up 20 assists and seven kills to lead the Diamondbacks to a 25-20, 14-25, 25-16, 25-18 win over the Trojans.

Emily Heinz had nine digs and six kills, and Courtney Scheller added three blocks for Desert Oasis.

Taylor McJunkin spiked 13 kills, and Sara Wulfenstein distributed 16 assists for Pahrump.

Faith Lutheran 3, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Kelsey McCourt’s 28 assists helped the Crusaders to a 25-17, 25-18, 25-15 sweep of the Aggies.

Vanessa Sigman supplied nine kills and five digs, and Taylor Richards had eight kills and six digs for Faith Lutheran, which got three aces from Gianni Perryman.

Amber Graham had 11 kills, three blocks and three digs to pace Arbor View. Micaila McErlean added 10 assists, and Natalie Stepna had three kills and two digs for the Aggies.

Shadow Ridge 3, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Taylor Spencer supplied 17 assists and four aces to propel the Mustangs past the Rattlers, 25-12, 25-19, 25-10.

Niehely Sosa added eight kills, five aces and three blocks for Shadow Ridge.

Ashley Dooley tallied five kills, and Dell Hodge notched four assists for Mojave.

Bishop Gorman 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Kylee Chun notched 28 assists, six kills and four aces as the Gaels swept the Chargers, 25-11, 25-9, 25-14.

Leah Lychock had seven kills for Gorman.

Bonanza 3, Durango 0 — At Bonanza, Bree Hammel compiled 14 kills, three aces and three blocks to help the Bengals sweep the Trailblazers, 25-8, 25-16, 25-10.

Jessica Wilcox added seven kills, two aces and three blocks for Bonanza, which got six kills and three aces from Rykki Rudd.

Sarah Tullis distributed 12 assists for Durango, teammate Hailee Wilson added five kills, and Mindy Larson provided four kills.

Moapa Valley 3, Tech 0 — At Tech, Ashley Noto had six aces and four kills to help the Pirates to a 25-14, 25-15, 25-13 sweep of the Roadrunners.

Sierra Kimbrough had eight aces for Moapa Valley.

Boulder City 3, Rancho 0 — At Boulder City, Avalon Frantz distributed 21 assists, and Whitney Barlow put down 12 kills in the Eagles’ 25-17, 25-9, 25-18 sweep of the Rams.

Ali Rants had 19 digs, and Katie Robbins chipped in six kills for Boulder City.

Calvary Chapel 2-2, The Meadows 0-0 — At Calvary Chapel, Brooke Davis racked up seven digs, eight assists and three kills in the opener and seven digs, 12 assists and three kills in the nightcap of the Lions’ 25-20, 25-8, and 25-10, 25-18 sweep of the Mustangs.

Brettani Davis had 10 digs, four kills and two assists for Calvary Chapel in the opener. McKenna Beckwith added five digs and two kills, and Caitlyn Chamberlain had four digs for the Lions in the first match.

In the nightcap, Jamie Mejia had nine kills, and Athena Lewis added seven digs and three aces for Calvary Chapel. Beckwith supplied five digs and four kills, and Brettani Davis had five digs for the Lions.

The Meadows’ Alex Hall had seven digs and four kills in the opener and 12 digs, six assists and three kills in the second match. Lena Schulhofer added 11 digs and two kills, and Victoria Onufrieff had 13 digs in the first match for the Mustangs. In the second match, Schulhofer supplied eight digs, and

Casey Barber had seven digs.

Lake Mead 2-2, Needles 0-0 — At Lake Mead, Colleen Zumaran had eight kills, 12 digs and two blocks in the first match and seven kills and 20 digs in the second as the Eagles rolled to 25-20, 25-23 and 25-17, 26-24 wins.

In the opener, Tessa McQuillan had 10 digs and seven kills, and Megan Watkins added 13 assists and eight digs for Lake Mead, which got 16 digs from Taylor Vetter.

In the nightcap, McQuillan had five kills and 14 digs, Watkins supplied 11 digs and six assists, and Vetter registered 10 digs and two aces.

Indian Springs 3, Lund 2 — At Lund, Victoria Carpenter had 12 kills, and Alexxa Reinke added 11 kills to help the Thunderbirds outlast the Mustangs, 25-18, 27-25, 22-25, 25-21, 16-14.

Heather Thormahlen dished out 24 assists for Indian Springs, and teammate Baylee McCormick served 10 aces. 

Pahranagat Valley 3, Sandy Valley 0 — At Sandy Valley, Kimberly Lewis had nine kills, four aces and four digs as the Panthers rolled to a 25-8, 25-3, 25-14 sweep of the Sidewinders.

Kyla Mortensen had nine kills and Halie Lewis tallied six kills and 15 aces for Pahranagat.

Kennedy Huntsman dished out 19 assists for the Panthers.

Adelson School 3, Round Mountain 1 — At Adelson School, the Lions collected their first Class 1A Southern League victory by downing the Knights, 25-16, 25-9, 22-25, 25-23.

Tonopah 3, Beatty 0 — At Beatty, the Muckers rolled to a 25-8, 28-26, 25-17 sweep of the Hornets.
