Roundup: Palo Verde rallies to top Faith Lutheran

Arien Fafard had 46 assists, 10 kills, 26 digs and four blocks on Thursday to lead the Palo Verde girls volleyball team to a 22-25, 15-25, 25-23, 25-18, 17-15 road win over Faith Lutheran.

Kaila Young had 18 kills and 15 digs, and Elizabeth Gutierrez had 15 kills for the Panthers. Mia Sadler added 27 digs for Palo Verde.

Kyrie Lorfing led the Crusaders with 15 kills, 24 assists, 15 digs and six blocks. Hailey Carroll added 30 assists and 11 kills, and Isabelle Guerrero had 14 kills and 15 digs for Faith Lutheran.

Anna Massari added 12 kills and seven blocks for the Crusaders.

Shadow Ridge 3, Bonanza 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Taliah Bell supplied 13 digs and eight kills, and Braedyn Peters added 16 digs in the Mustangs’ 25-7, 25-20, 25-12 win over the Bengals.

Alysha Smith tallied 10 digs and seven kills, and Makayla Alia dished out 14 assists for Shadow Ridge.

Sydney Evelyn Harner had 20 digs to lead Bonanza.

Las Vegas 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Las Vegas High, Skyla Faught had 15 kills, three aces and 20 digs to lead the Wildcats past the Desert Shields, 25-13, 25-17, 25-16.

Brooklyn Stone had three kills, five aces, three digs and 22 assists, Victoria Barney had five kills and 23 digs, and Nicole Velez had 19 digs for Las Vegas.

Tia Echols had three kills and three aces to lead Cheyenne.

Shaniya Mouton had three kills, Arabic McLaurin had two aces, and Miya Burns had two kills for the Desert Shields.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Cimarron, Natasha Obradovic had 15 kills and seven digs to lead the Spartans to a 25-10, 25-11, 25-9 victory over the Pioneers.

Destiny Garcia added 25 assists, four digs, two aces and two kills, and Andrea Aldaco had eight digs and five aces for Cimarron.

Dominique McIntyre led Canyon Springs with 11 kills and five digs. Ja’Nasia Spand and Jeanette Fine each had eight digs for the Pioneers.

Legacy 3, Eldorado 0 — At Legacy, Geneyce Jordan had eight aces and 11 digs as the Longhorns swept the Sundevils, 25-8, 25-10, 25-6.

Jessica Liu added 22 assists and six aces, Jazmyne Walker had five kills and seven digs, and Kiara Peterson and Trinity Wolkenhauer each had five kills for Legacy.

Melissa Cuevas had seven digs to lead Eldorado. Amber Castro had five assists, and Deanna Contreras had five digs for the Sundevils.

Arbor View 3, Desert Pines — At Desert Pines, Alina Oranchak had 10 kills, five aces and nine digs as the Aggies swept the Jaguars, 25-6, 25-13, 25-9.

Camilla Jensen had nine kills, two aces and four digs, and Sadae Cintron had two kills, 18 assists, five aces and two digs for Arbor View.

Anike Bernales had 10 digs to lead the to lead Desert Pines.

Jenny Alcantara had eight digs, and Karyme McGhee had four assists and five digs for the Jaguars.

Rancho 3, Centennial 0 — At Centennial, Angelina Robles had 14 kills, two aces and nine digs to lead the Rams past the Bulldogs, 25-16, 25-11, 25-22.

Leah Miller had nine kills and three blocks, Kaille Ferguson had eight kills and eight digs, and Jan Duhaylungsod had 32 assists and 10 digs for the Rams.

Brooke Miller had nine kills, two aces and four digs to lead the Bulldogs.

Taylor Lindell had seven kills, Reygan Purvis had five kills and one ace, and Kaya Anderson had 25 assists and seven digs.

Sky Pointe 3, SLAM Academy 1 — At Sky Pointe, Jocelyn Sanders had eight kills and eight aces as the Eagles defeated the Bulls, 25-16, 25-19, 15-25, 25-20.

Kylie Poulsen had six kills, four aces and 17 digs, and Katie Piet had five kills and served up 24 assists for Sky Pointe.

Liberty Baptist 3, Beaver Dam 1 — At Liberty Baptist, Jade Halverson had 15 kills, 21 digs, seven aces and two blocks to lead the Knights to a 25-12, 25-19, 23-25, 25-17 win over the Diamondbacks.

Kiley Guardiola had 25 digs, nine kills and five aces, and Kelsey Guardiola had 18 digs, six aces and five kills for Liberty Baptist.

Adelson School 3, American Prep 0 — At Adelson School, Dana Bluevise notched nine aces, seven kills, and five digs in the Lions’ 25-13, 25-9, 26-24 sweep of American Prep.

Elizabeth Gutierrez had 10 assists and five kills, and Nicole Derie supplied 10 assists and five kills for Adelson School.
