ROUNDUP: Pahrump Valley sweeps Clark
Alyson Kunzi and Kayla Foster had eight kills each Thursday to lead Pahrump Valley’s girls volleyball team to a 25-8, 25-10, 25-14 win over Clark.
Taylor McJunkin added five aces, Taylor Ball six kills and Ashley Lindgren 28 assists for Pahrump Valley.
Bishop Gorman 3, Durango 0 — At Gorman, Kylie Shaw had 20 kills to power the Gaels to a 25-10, 25-14, 25-18 win over the Trailblazers.
Kylee Chung added 28 assists and Brooke McKenna 14 digs for Gorman.
Borjana Djukic had 13 digs and Sarah Tullis 12 assists and 10 digs for Durango.
Sierra Vista 3, Western 0 — At Western, the Grizzlies swept the Warriors, 25-17, 25-15, 25-11.
Bonanza 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Bree Hammel had five kills and two aces as the Bengals breezed past the Grizzlies, 25-8, 25-12, 25-16.
Destiny Garcia added four aces for Bonanza.
Silverado 3, Basic 0 — At Basic, Marilyn Agae had 30 assists, eight digs and three aces to help the Skyhawks post a 25-7, 25-11, 25-10 win over the Wolves.
Kayla Agae added 11 kills, 14 digs and four aces and Taylor Richard eight kills and 16 digs for Silverado.
Tara Patchett had five kills and 10 digs and Mikayla Bowen 11 digs and three kills for Basic.
Green Valley 3, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Emma Johnson had nine kills and eight aces to help the Gators to a 25-9, 25-10, 25-12 win over the Falcons.
Taylor Seidler added seven digs and Jena Chavez 13 assists for Green Valley.
Kelsey McFarland had eight digs for Foothill.
Coronado 3, Liberty 0 — At Coronado, Katie Gamsky had 22 assists and Kristen Herlosky six kills to help the Cougars beat the Patriots, 25-17, 25-14, 25-12.
Kuulei Piena had 10 kills for Coronado.
Amanda Delgado led Liberty with nine kills.
Del Sol 3, Tech 0 — At Del Sol, Lyndee Rivera had 16 kills and five aces to lead the Dragons to a 25-7, 25-20, 25-11 win over the Roadrunners.
Natalie Korzenowski had seven kills and Senora Lankert six for Del Sol.
Las Vegas 3, Eldorado 0 — At Las Vegas, Danica Pickett had 10 digs and six kills to help the Wildcats to a 25-17, 25-16, 25-14 win over the Sundevils.
Ruth Wittig added 17 digs and Tiffany Jackson 22 assists and nine digs for Las Vegas.
Marissa Mousseau had 20 assists, four kills and four blocks for Eldorado. Casey Bradshaw added five kills and seven digs.
Chaparral 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Jessica Sadgn had 10 kills and six aces as the Cowboys downed the Miners, 25-20, 25-8, 25-10.
Carolina Reyes supplied 22 assists and three aces for Chaparral.
Elise Marshall had five kills and three blocks for Sunrise Mountain. Monica Peterson added 14 assists and Samatha Venerable eight digs for the Miners.
Valley 3, Rancho 2 — At Rancho, Aliza Robinson had 11 kills, four blocks and two aces as the Vikings outlasted the Rams, 25-22, 25-23, 25-27, 15-25, 15-6.
Maureen Aquino added 12 kills and two blocks and Lenore Porter 26 assists and four aces for the Vikings.
Rancho was led by Kelsey Cribbs with 19 digs and Alisha Momodu with 13 kills.
Canyon Springs 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, the Pioneers swept the Jaguars, 25-18, 25-15, 25-13.
Centennial 3, Arbor View 0— At Centennial, Kaitlin Kelly had five kills, five digs and two aces as the Bulldogs defeated the Aggies, 25-18, 25-21, 25-17.
Morgan Vieira had 11 assists, two kills and three aces and Tiffany Champan 11 digs for Centennial. Alli Tatom added nine blocks and nine kills for the Bulldogs.
Palo Verde 3, Mojave 0 — At Palo Verde, Tori Lounsbery had 12 assists, seven aces and four kills to help the Panthers to a 25-14, 25-8, 25-17 win over the Rattlers.
Ainsley Lovejoy had five kills and five aces for Palo Verde, and teammate Lauren Kennal added four kills and seven assists.
Cimarron-Memorial 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cimarron, Merrick Frost dished out 25 assists as the Spartans downed the Desert Shields, 25-20, 25-20, 25-23.
Leilani Blanco added 10 kills, five aces and five digs for Cimarron. Also for the Spartans, Desire Luca had 11 digs and Mariah Kelley seven kills.
Andrea Schmitz had 17 assists and Shayla McKinney 11 kills for Cheyenne.
Faith Lutheran 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Hayley Washinsky had 10 kills and four digs to lead the Crusaders to a 25-15, 25-11, 25-17 win over the Longhorns.
Kelsey McCourt added 23 assists and Meagan Hauser seven kills for Faith Lutheran.
Kayla Murray had five kills for Legacy.
Pahranagat Valley 3, Mountain View 1 — At Mountain View, the Panthers handed the Saints a 25-18, 25-12, 23-25, 25-9 loss.
Charde Page had seven kills, two aces and two blocks to lead Mountain View. Zari Riley added four kills and two blocks, and Ariana Payne contributed three aces, three digs and two blocks.
