ROUNDUP: Jefferson, Diamondbacks sweep Vikings
Tianna Jefferson dished out 16 assists Monday to help Desert Oasis’ girls volleyball team to a 25-6, 25-13, 25-15 sweep of visiting Valley.
Janae Ballard had four kills and two blocks, and Brooke Mazak added three kills for the Diamondbacks.
Arbor View 3, Legacy 1 — At Arbor View, the Aggies posted a 25-20, 25-15, 20-25, 25-17 win over the Longhorns.
Emily Valerio paced Legacy with 12 assists, 10 digs and three aces. Bianca Boyt added seven kills and four blocks for the Longhorns, who got five kills from Ashly Goor and five blocks from Ashley Smoot.
Sunrise Mountain 3, Mojave 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Tania Amaya served 14 aces and had three kills as the Miners downed the Rattlers, 25-12, 25-13, 28-26.
Janae Yurek-Carhee added six kills and three aces for Sunrise Mountain.
