ROUNDUP: Huntsman, Rudd rally Bonanza girls past Gaels

Hayley Huntsman dished out 20 assists, and Rykki Rudd spiked 11 kills Tuesday to as Bonanza’s girls volleyball team rallied for a 19-25, 25-10, 24-26, 25-17, 15-13 home win over Bishop Gorman.

Ellyn Hirabayashi had 16 digs and four aces, and Vasati Fiatoa supplied four blocks for Bonanza.

Lexi Bradford had 25 assists, and Alex Ruggero tallied 26 digs for Gorman, which also got 12 kills and six blocks from Emma Kirst. Sierra Scoggins and Anna Dondero added five blocks each for Gorman.

Coronado 3, Foothill 2 — At Foothill, Carolyn Andrulis racked up 14 kills and 23 digs, and Cali Thompson distributed 44 assists to help the Cougars clinch the Southeast League title with a 25-22, 21-25, 25-19, 18-25, 15-8 win over the Falcons.

Berkeley Oblad had eight kills and five blocks, and Charlie Spietz added five kills, 11 digs and two aces for Coronado.

Zoe Wolfenbarger had 14 kills, 14 assists and 12 digs, and Emma Khachikian contributed 17 digs, five kills and seven aces for the Falcons. Sam Colella had 19 digs, and Sarah Dusenbury chipped in seven kills and five blocks for Foothill.

Legacy 3, Cimarron-Memorial 2 — At Cimarron, Bianca Boyt had 13 kills and five digs, and Emily Valerio added 20 assists, seven digs and four aces to help the Longhorns outlast the Spartans, 23-25, 25-22, 25-22, 23-25, 15-9.

Ashley Smoot had eight kills and six blocks, and Ashly Goor supplied 12 kills and two blocks for Legacy.

Chalon Henderson led Cimarron with 17 kills, six digs and four blocks. Teammate Erica Padilla had 32 assists, six digs and four kills, and Kiana Carter added 12 kills and two blocks.

Basic 3, Del Sol 1 — At Basic, Victoria Foutz had 13 kills, four blocks and three aces, and Leah Causey tallied 10 kills and four blocks to help the Wolves beat the Dragons 25-9, 20-25, 25-28, 25-13.

Christa Isaiah added nine kills and two blocks for Basic.

Kaleileihua Cabanas had eight digs, four kills and two assists for Del Sol, and Azhwalaee Oliver added four blocks, three kills and three digs.

Chaparral 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Chaparral, Katie Oliveira tallied 31 assists, and Jaeda Allen had 21 kills and four aces, helping the Cowboys sweep the Miners 25-20, 25-21, 25-18.

Cheyenne Huntsman had 14 digs and two aces, and Hannah Kirschbaum supplied eight aces and four kills for Chaparral.

Imani Kroon had 10 assists, two kills and two aces, and Alex Martinez provided four kills and two blocks for Sunrise Mountain.

Centennial 3, Desert Oasis 0 —
At Centennial, Kristi Farley dished out 39 assists, and Raquari Gilliam had 12 kills as the Bulldogs swept the Diamondbacks, 25-13, 25-21, 25-12.

Talia Barnes added eight kills, and Deja Demby tallied five kills for Centennial, which got four kills from Zoe Phillips.

Liberty 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Natalia Leilua had 23 assists and 14 digs to help the Patriots beat the Sundevils, 25-18, 25-14, 25-19.

Reid Morgavi helped Liberty with 13 kills, and teammate Luiza Nascimento added six kills and two blocks.

Sarah Kanet had nine kills and eight digs to pace Eldorado. Alexis Vaquero added six kills and 11 digs, and Jasmyne Vandyleuam had 11 digs for the Sundevils.

Boulder City 3, Virgin Valley 0 — At Boulder City, Avalon Frantz had 25 assists and 10 aces to lead the Eagles to the outright Sunrise League title with a 25-9, 27-25, 25-17 victory over the Bulldogs.

Mallory Bird added eight kills and four blocks for Boulder City, and teammate Whitney Barlow had 11 kills and six blocks.

Alora Bonner led Virgin Valley with five blocks and four digs. Teammate Nicole Arquette had 10 assists and three blocks.

Moapa Valley 3, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, the Pirates beat the Jaguars 25-19, 20-25, 25-14, 25-11.

Jazzmin Avalos had 12 digs and seven assists, and Melissa Benford had five kills and three aces for Desert Pines.

Indian Springs 3, Adelson School 0 —
At Adelson School, the Thunderbirds posted a 25-11, 25-19, 25-8 win over the Lions.

Pahranagat Valley 3, Lund 0 — At Lund, the Panthers were 25-17, 25-16, 25-13 winners over the Mustangs.
