ROUNDUP: Foothill fends off Liberty in girls volleyball

Shardae Mazzeo had seven kills, three aces, and six digs Wednesday to help visiting Foothill outlast Liberty 27-25, 12-25, 25-16, 24-26, 15-12 in a girls volleyball match.

Christine Nash had 11 assists, and Rhianna Gelhart added eight assists and three blocks for the Falcons.

Amanda Delgado had nine kills and seven digs for Liberty.

Green Valley 3, Tech 0 — At Green Valley, the Gators swept the Roadrunners, 25-2, 25-12, 25-4.

Jena Chavez had 21 assists for Green Valley.

Sydney Brozovich served seven aces and added four kills for Green Valley.

Silverado 3, Coronado 0 — At Silverado, Taylor Richard had 10 kills, eight digs and two aces to help the Skyhawks down Coronado, 25-15, 25-8, 25-16.

Marilyn Agae added 17 assists and eight blocks for the Skyhawks, Jessica Witt had 11 digs and four aces, and Kaitlin Keathley had six kills and 10 blocks.

Del Sol 3, Basic 0 — At Del Sol, Kadie Miller had 20 assists, six kills, seven aces and five digs to help the Dragons down the Roadrunners 25-22, 25-23, 25-23.

Gaby Luebke had eight kills, three aces and three digs, and Karie Miller added six kills and four digs for Del Sol.

Tara Patchet had six assists, four kills, two blocks and six digs for Basic.

Legacy 3, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, Kelsey Knight had 12 digs and three aces, and Sarah Winsor had five blocks and three kills as the Longhorns beat the Desert Shields, 21-25, 26-24, 25-14, 25-19.

Kathleen Noorda added 11 assists for Legacy.

Andrea Schmitz had eight assists for Cheyenne, and Stacey Cain and Shardaesia Rhodes each had three kills.

Centennial 3, Palo Verde 0 — At Palo Verde, Johnna Brown had eight kills and eight blocks to lead the Bulldogs over the Panthers, 25-16, 25-10, 25-13.

Katie Friedlander added 11 digs, and Hillary O’Shaughnessy had five kills and five blocks for Centennial.

Ainsley Lovejoy led Palo Verde with seven kills. Nicole Gneiting added six kills, and Tori Lounsbery had 16 assists for the Panthers.

Arbor View 3, Cimarron-Memorial 2 — At Cimarron-Memorial, the Aggies rallied to beat the Spartans, 26-24, 23-25, 14-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Jessica White had 23 assists for Cimarron. Catherine Wyre added seven kills and 12 digs.

Shadow Ridge 3, Mojave 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Kylie Schraft had 12 kills and 12 aces, and Kristina Reyes added 19 assists and three aces as the Mustangs beat the Rattlers, 25-4, 25-13, 25-13.

Bobbie Harris had four digs for Mojave.
