ROUNDUP: Colon, Cowboys lasso Desert Pines

Chaparral’s Jessica Colon recorded 10 kills and four aces to carry the Cowboys to a 25-22, 13-25, 25-23, 25-18 victory over visiting Desert Pines in girls volleyball on Tuesday.

Rachel Tanner added 32 assists for the Cowboys, and Jordan McGinness had 26 digs.

Sierra Vista 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Sierra Vista, Brooke Robinson had 19 kills to help the Mountain Lions gain a 25-14, 25-13, 25-21 win over the Grizzlies.

Maria Capparelli had 25 assists for Sierra Vista, and Kelsey Stegall added five kills.

Laura Perri had seven aces and six assists for the Grizzlies. Dominique Acebedo contributed two kills and four digs.

Bonanza 3, Clark 0— At Clark, Amy Davis supplied 28 assists and five aces, and Kori Black added seven kills as the Bengals beat the Chargers, 25-11, 25-15, 25-19.

Eldorado 3, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, Sarah Childs had five kills, seven digs and three blocks as the Sundevils defeated the Rams, 25-23, 28-26, 25-23.

Eldorado’s Nohely Palacios had six kills, Marissa Mousseau added five kills and four assists and Candace Keele had 15 assists.

Las Vegas 3, Valley 1— At Valley, Heather Ruesch had seven aces, six kills and seven digs, and Ruth Wittig added 13 digs and four aces to help the Wildcats beat the Vikings, 25-16 23-25, 25-13, 25-11.

Marissa Duncan served seven aces for Las Vegas.

Kersey Wahlquist led Valley with 11 assists and three aces.

Durango 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Durango, Hayley Spelman spiked 25 kills to help the Trailblazers to a 25-10, 25-15, 25-13 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Durango’s Morgan Malone had 22 assists, and Jourdan Rowsell served five aces.

Bishop Gorman 3, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Pahrump, Dannielle Diamant had 15 kills and four blocks to lift the Gaels over the Trojans, 25-14, 25-20, 19-25, 27-25.

Gorman’s Liz Manthei finished with 37 assists, nine kills and four blocks. Kylie Shaw had 13 kills and four aces. Shelby Devlin had seven blocks, and Liz Lisowski made 23 digs.

Pahrump’s Kristi Daffer had 12 kills, and Arlette Scott had 13 assists.

The Meadows 3, Boulder City 2 — At The Meadows, Lindsie Kutcher contributed 14 kills for the Mustangs in their 25-23, 22-25, 26-24, 20-25, 15-13 victory over the Eagles.

The Meadows’ Christina Fong had 44 digs. Vanessa Hall had 26 digs and 18 assists, and Kim McLaughlin had 26 digs and 14 assists.

Calvary Chapel 3, Sandy Valley 0 — At Sandy Valley, Lauren Feigler had nine kills and five aces as the Lions beat the Sidewinders, 25-9, 25-12, 25-17.

Treasure Brown had 19 assists and two kills, and Bri Ridley had four kills and three aces for Calvary Chapel.

Henderson International 3, Agassi Prep 2 — At Agassi Prep, Pam Sakuma had nine kills, six blocks and four aces to lead the Wolverines over the Stars, 25-17, 22-25, 25-21, 20-25, 18-16.

Brittany Huff added five kills, 14 assists and 13 digs, and teammate Lee Harrison had seven kills and six blocks for Henderson International.

Pahranagat Valley 3, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Faith Lutheran, the Panthers beat the Crusaders, 25-19, 19-25, 25-20, 25-23.
