Roundup: Audrey Dayton leads Sierra Vista past Las Vegas

Audrey Dayton had 18 kills and 21 digs as Sierra Vista’s girls volleyball team defeated visiting Las Vegas 24-26, 25-14, 23-25, 25-21, 15-9 on Friday night.

Leilani Vitale had 21 kills, and Matlyn Ua had 31 assists for the Mountain Lions.

Skyla Faught had 21 kills and 17 digs to lead the Wildcats. Victoria Barney had 22 digs and six kills, Brooklyn Stone had 27 assists, eight digs and six kills, and Nicole Velez had 26 digs, four assists, and two aces for Las Vegas.

Western 3, Democracy Prep 2 — At Democracy Prep, Camille Riggs had 20 kills, three aces, and two blocks to lead the Warriors to victory over the Blue Knights, 25-22, 25-16, 22-25, 22-25, 15-6.

Western’s Adrianna Jones also had 43 digs, four aces, and two kills.

Somerset-Losee 3, Valley 1 — At Somerset-Losee, Sabrina Wright had eight kills, 11 assists and nine aces to lead the Lions to victory over the Vikings, 25-16, 25-17, 21-25, 25-19.

Taylor Kelly had 14 digs for Somerset-Losee.

Bella Pelupelu had 10 assists for the Lions.

Andrea Munguia had 14 assists, three aces and 10 digs for Valley, and Demari Sprinkle-Blakney had nine kills, five digs, and two blocks for the Vikings.

The Meadows 2-2, Lincoln County 0-0 — At The Meadows, the Mustangs swept a doubleheader against the Lynx.

Dani Mason had a combined 10 kills, 3 assists, 14 aces and 4 digs for The Meadows, which won 25-10, 25-7 and 25-10, 25-6.

Mira Gollard recorded a combined 33 assists across the two matches.

Anna Dorn had a combined nine kills and 13 digs for the Mustangs.

Beatty 3, Sandy Valley 0 — At Beatty, the Hornets took down the Sandwinders, 25-10, 25-22, 25-12.
