Lounsbery helps Palo Verde girls sweep Cimarron
Tori Lounsbery had 21 assists, five aces and four digs Monday to help Palo Verde’s girls volleyball team to a 25-11, 25-13, 25-16 sweep of visiting Cimarron-Memorial.
Jovana Sisovic had 11 kills and four digs, and Kady Lay added five kills for Palo Verde.
Merrik Frost had 15 assists and Leilani Blanco notched six kills for Cimarron.
Centennial 3, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Centennial, Morgan Vieira had 12 assists, nine digs, six kills and two blocks to lead the Bulldogs over the Mustangs 25-17, 25-14, 25-21.
Lacy Miyahira had eight assists, five kills, four aces, three digs and two blocks, and Alli Tatom had seven blocks and five kills for Centennial.
Kylee Schraft had 14 kills and seven digs, and Destinee Beavers added six kills and two aces for Shadow Ridge.
Faith Lutheran 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Hayley Washinsky had 11 kills and five aces, and Meagan Hauser added nine kills and seven aces as the Crusaders routed the Desert Shields 25-6, 25-9, 25-17.
Taylor Richards had 14 assists, and Kayla McCourt had seven digs for Faith Lutheran.
Arbor View 3, Legacy 0 — At Arbor View, Micaila McErlean had eight digs, four kills and four aces to lead the Aggies past the Longhorns 25-12, 25-20, 25-22.
Lorin Rader had seven assists and five aces, and Natalie Stepna had four kills for Arbor View.
Tia Matthews and Kayla Murray each had five kills and three blocks for Legacy.
Durango 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Taylor Short had 11 kills and Cherelle Hicks added 10 kills as the Trailblazers downed the Grizzlies 25-14, 25-6, 25-23.
Sarah Tullis had 22 assists for Durango.
Joyce Tran had seven kills and Shannon Larson added six digs for Spring Valley.
Bishop Gorman 3, Western 0 — At Gorman, Kylee Chun had 22 assists, three kills and three aces, and Michelle Lisowski contributed 14 digs and two aces to lead the Gaels in a rout of the Warriors 25-9, 25-10, 25-14.
Liz Manthei had six kills, six assists and four aces for Gorman. Kylie Shaw added 11 kills and Shelby Devlin four kills for the Gaels.
Desert Oasis 3, Clark 0 — At Desert Oasis, Kelsey Motis had nine kills to help the Diamondbacks sweep Clark, 25-17, 25-22, 25-17.
Isabella Casanova had six aces and Wendy Macias five digs for Desert Oasis.
Sierra Vista 3, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Pahrump, Angie Batalona had 37 assists as Sierra Vista downed the Trojans, 25-17, 25-18, 25-19.
Kayla Forte had 13 digs and Johnie Pride seven kills for the Mountain Lions.
