Outlook: The Desert Shields return the bulk of a squad that finished third in the Sunset League last year.

“We are only adding two new players to last year’s team, so we will be relying on team chemistry and experience to find success,” Armstrong said. “After making the playoffs last year and losing only two starters, we plan on getting deeper into the playoffs and possibly competing for a Class 3A state chmpionship.”
