Outlook: The Gaels lost the bulk of last year’s state semifinal team to graduation and return just three letter winners.
Ewalefo (112 kills, 67 blocks) and Cunningham (70 kills, 35 blocks) likely will be among the leaders in the front row, and Bradford (65 assists, 78 digs, 29 aces) will supply help as a setter and on defense.
“With only one returning starter and a young team, it will be a difficult start to the season, but we expect to be competing for state by the end of the season,” VanMeetren said.
