VOLLEYBALL: Treven Clizbe serves match-winning ace in Arbor View’s five-set win over Centennial

Treven Clizbe had 21 kills, 24 digs, four blocks and three aces, including the match-clinching ace, as Arbor View’s boys volleyball team took down visiting Centennial 25-20, 19-25, 25-23, 18-25, 16-14 on Monday.

Brenden Wagner added 21 kills for the Aggies. Arbor View’s Jake Reid had 14 digs, and teammate Carson Driscoll had 40 assists.

Kade Frischknecht led Centennial with 15 kills. Farries Gardner had 13 kills, Justin Madsen had 12 kills, and Sam Belnap dished out 40 assists for the Bulldogs.

Silverado 3, Liberty 2 — At Liberty, Tyler Olson and Jaden Keomaka each had 15 kills as the Skyhawks defeated the Patriots, 19-25, 25-16, 23-25, 25-18, 15-11.

Olson added six blocks, and Sean Borla had 22 digs and four aces for Silverado.

Lucas Husli led Liberty with 15 kills and six digs. Tyler Chavez added 10 kills, five digs and two blocks for the Patriots, and teammate Tanner Billiu had six kills and four blocks.

Shadow Ridge 3, Palo Verde 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Franklin Tanner had 15 kills, seven digs and two blocks to lead the Mustangs past the Panthers, 25-23, 25-23, 23-25, 25-18.

Derek Robnett had 14 kills, 13 digs and three blocks, C.J. McInnis had 33 assists, two aces and seven digs, and Brenton Justice added four kills and eight blocks for Shadow Ridge.

Scott Solan and Chandler Juilfs each had 12 kills each for Palo Verde. Haden Van Orden dished out 36 assists for the Panthers.

Green Valley 3, Basic 1 — At Basic, James Reed had 24 kills, four aces and 10 digs to lead the Gators past the Wolves, 25-21, 25-18, 22-25, 25-17.

Tanner Casto had 11 kills and 13 digs, and Zachary Fedarko added 46 assists, with three aces and eight digs for the Gators.

Jacob Fulton had five kills and six blocks to lead Basic.

Dylan Callister had 10 kill, and Matt Gajeski added six kills, two blocks and 31 assists for the Wolves.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Erick Forbush had nine kills and six digs to lead the Spartans past the Longhorns, 25-21, 25-23, 25-19.

Jameson Valencia had six kills and two digs, and teammate Edher Aldaco added 21 assists and six digs.

Dominic Harris had seven kills, three aces and four digs to lead the Longhorns. Christian Brown added four kills, nine assists and three digs for Legacy.

Coronado 3, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Ryan Garlick had 18 kills and seven digs to lead the Cougars past the Falcons, 25-14, 25-20, 26-24.

Nik Purser had 11 kills and nine digs, Matt Wilson dished out 36 assists, and Andrew Corrales had 12 digs for Coronado.

Tanner Lester had nine kills and six digs to lead Foothill.

Caleb Stearman had 23 assists and five digs, and Richard Reid added six kills for the Falcons.

Eldorado 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Adrian Evans had 11 kills and six assists to lead the Sundevils to a 25-17, 25-11, 26-24 victory over the Miners.

Tim Lawson had 25 assists and two blocks, and Keyunte Schroeder had six kills for Eldorado.

Elijah Bright led Sunrise Mountain with 14 digs. Kevin Polendo had three aces, and teammate Trevor White added three kills for the Miners.

Valley 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Valley, Isaac Frazier had 16 kills to help the Vikings to a 25-15, 28-26, 25-18 victory over the Grizzlies.

Juan De Dios-Magana added 12 kills, and teammate Justin Sandoval had 39 assists for Valley.

Syed Husain led Spring Valley with 22 digs and three aces. Jakob Repolio added five blocks for the Grizzlies.
