VOLLEYBALL: Robinson helps Falcons rally past Gaels

Trevor Robinson had 13 kills, 10 digs and three aces on Friday to help Foothill’s boys volleyball team rally for a 19-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-18 home win over Bishop Gorman.

Taeg Williams added 29 assists and five blocks, and Ryan Briggs had nine kills and two blocks for the Falcons.

Charles Pollnow had 14 kills and five digs, and teammate Cody Tom supplied 35 assists and four digs for the Gaels.

Palo Verde 3, Centennial 1 — At Centennial, Brigham Clawson had 14 kills, and Andrew Weston supplied 37 assists and 13 digs to lead the Panthers to a 25-19, 25-21, 21-25, 25-20 victory over the Bulldogs.

Ryan Nielson added 22 digs for Palo Verde.

Tanner Durkin had 14 kills, and Chet Durkin added 32 assists, three aces and 13 digs for Centennial. Cody Graham had 16 digs, and Nyajee Washington contributed seven kills and three blocks for the Bulldogs.

Basic 3, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Cimarron, Auston Farrington had 15 kills and three aces to lead the Wolves over the Spartans, 25-19, 23-25, 25-20, 25-17.

Taylor Dyer added 44 assists, and five aces for Basic, and teammate Calvin Knuppel had seven kills and three blocks.

Nate Starlin led Cimarron with 24 assists and 10 digs. Royce Hightower had eight kills, and Angel Hightower recorded 24 digs for the Spartans.
