VOLLEYBALL: McDonald helps Wolves sweep Cheyenne
Brad McDonald had 12 kills Friday to help Basic’s boys volleyball team to a 25-7, 26-24, 25-14 win over visiting Cheyenne on Friday.
Matt Gajeski had 19 assists for the Wolves.
Tyler Buchanan put down seven kills, and Lanson Keomaka had 17 assists for the Desert Shields.
Eldorado 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Eldorado, Paul Palmore had eight kills and four blocks to lead the Sundevils to a 25-17, 25-18, 25-16 victory over the Miners.
Tim Lawson had 20 assists for Eldorado, and Vitaleme Alphonse added four blocks for the Sundevils.
