VOLLEYBALL: Franklin, Longhorns rally by Bengals

Zaire Franklin had 15 kills, 12 digs and three aces Tuesday as Legacy’s boys volleyball team rallied for a 23-25, 22-25 25-18, 25-17, 17-15 win over visiting Bonanza.

Anthony Madden had 11 kills, five aces and two blocks, and Anthony Delgado added 38 assists, five digs and three aces for the Longhorns, who got 12 digs from Anthony Guevara.

Andrew Jensen had 21 kills and five digs to lead the Bengals. Luis Raygoza added 29 assists and nine digs, and Bronson Duckworth had nine kills for Bonanza.

Desert Oasis 3, Durango 1 — At Durango, Nainoa Gardner had 15 kills and three aces, and Billy Cameron added 11 kills and three aces to lead the Diamondbacks to a 25-23, 25-23, 23-25, 25-19 win over the Trailblazers.

Saunoa Afoa had nine kills, and Ailey Asulin added 24 assists for Desert Oasis.

Michael Diggins had 14 kills, and Andre Shabazz added 37 assists, 13 digs and three aces for Durango, which got nine kills from Jaylen Clark.

Palo Verde 3, Centennial 1 — At Palo Verde, Michael Simister had 23 kills to help the Panthers to a 25-20, 29-27, 18-25, 25-22 win over the Bulldogs.

Cole Wilson had 42 assists, and Jonathan Hecker had 14 digs for Palo Verde.

Shadow Ridge 3, Arbor View 0 — At Shadow Ridge, N.J. Makaiwi had 22 assists and seven digs to lead the Mustangs to a 25-13, 25-21, 25-17 sweep of the Aggies.

Quinn Peterson had eight kills and six digs, and Brendan Harville added six digs and five kills for Shadow Ridge, which got 22 digs from A.J. Makaiwi.

Sam Buckels put down 11 kills, and Kaneen Manuel had seven kills for Arbor View, which got six blocks from Brendan Wagner.
