VOLLEYBALL: Compton, Franklin help Legacy to four-set win

Tanner Compton racked up 17 kills, six digs and three blocks, and Zaire Franklin added 16 kills and five digs Friday to help Legacy’s boys volleyball team to a 26-24, 25-17, 21-25, 28-26 win at Arbor View.

Braden Liu dished out 53 assists, and Jonah Tarlton supplied 10 kills for the Longhorns, who got 16 digs from Anthony Cabrera.

Chris Heron distributed 66 assists for the Aggies. Darien Bradley had 16 kills, and Darrell Swanson added 15 kills for Arbor View.

Mojave 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Matt Albinio had 12 kills to lead Mojave in a 25-16, 25-23, 25-16 sweep of the Diamondbacks.

Jovan Carrazco recorded 26 assists and three aces, and Lorenzo Guerrero added 20 digs for Mojave, which got eight kills from Jordan Glenn.

Billy Cameron had five kills, and Andrew Vasquez had 10 digs for Desert Oasis, which got three blocks apiece from Qwade Huff and Kalil Smith.

Las Vegas 3, Centennial 0 — At Las Vegas, T.J. Esporas had 14 kills and four digs to help the Wildcats to a 25-23, 25-19, 25-23 sweep of the Bulldogs.

Chris Kampshoff added nine kills, seven digs and two aces for Las Vegas. Shayne Marquez recorded 37 assists, five digs and four blocks, and Chris Marx supplied six kills and three blocks for the Wildcats.

Chet Durkin had 28 assists and three blocks, and Tanner Durkin had nine kills for Centennial. Parker Grimes had seven kills and four blocks for the Bulldogs.
