ROUNDUP: Webb, Roadrunners ensnare Dragons for win

Dalton Webb had 19 kills, and Edwin Lopez dished out 25 assists Friday as Tech’s boys volleyball team outlasted host Del Sol, 25-22, 25-22, 20-25, 14-25, 17-15.

Adan Hernandez put down 14 kills, and Hector Galvan added 21 assists for Tech.

Dennis Takahashi supplied 53 assists, and Eric Beil tallied 37 kills and 14 digs to lead Del Sol, which got 16 digs and 11 kills from Cameron Ely.

Silverado 3, Basic 1 — At Basic, Kyle Divicino had 13 kills to lead the Skyhawks to a 25-19, 18-25, 25-15, 25-16 win over the Wolves.

Indigo Varela notched 34 assists and six kills, and Vincent Gomez added 12 digs for Silverado.

Drake Geniec led Basic with 12 kills, and Mark Bowman added 10 blocks for the Wolves.

Green Valley 3, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Beau Gronert had 13 kills and five blocks to lead the Gators to a 25-13, 25-14, 25-12 sweep of the Falcons.

Wesley Reed added six kills for Green Valley, and teammate Dimitri Santos supplied five aces.

Jordan Primo led Foothill with six digs, and teammate Kendall Andrews finished with four kills.

Coronado 3, Liberty 0 — At Coronado, Brandon Dau had 12 kills and eight digs to help the Cougars roll to a 25-12, 25-10, 25-18 win over the Patriots.

Byrin Romney added 25 assists, four kills and four digs, and Austin Moiseyev supplied seven kills for Coronado.

Daniel Filimona had three kills for Liberty.

Palo Verde 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Sean Wilson had 25 assists and seven digs, and Brandon King supplied 13 kills and five digs as the Panthers swept the Spartans, 25-23, 25-11, 25-14.

Pat Morrison added 13 digs for Palo Verde

Ares Manumaleuna totaled seven kills and nine digs for Cimarron, and Taylor Larsen added 10 assists.

Arbor View 3, Mojave 0 — At Arbor View, Gennady Shataev put down 11 kills, and Bobby Heron had five blocks to lead the Aggies to a 25-15, 25-10, 25-19 sweep of the Rattlers.

Billy Murphy had nine kills and five blocks, and Martin Rios added nine digs to lead Mojave.

Centennial 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Ryan Ramin had 14 kills as the Bulldogs downed the Desert Shields, 25-15, 25-12, 25-22.

Justin Buell added eight kills, and Dylan Morris notched five kills and two aces for Centennial.

Nathan Pryor paced Cheyenne with five kills, and Cameron Patterson added four kills and four digs.

Shadow Ridge 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Jalen Makaiwi racked up 18 assists and three aces in the Mustangs’ 25-20, 25-22, 25-16 win over the Longhorns.

Collin Johnson added nine kills, and Cody Tesoro had 28 digs for Shadow Ridge.

Erik Valerio distributed 21 assists for Legacy. Chris Reyes added 11 digs, and Justin Paquin supplied 10 kills and three digs for the Longhorns.
