Roundup: Shadow Ridge rallies to beat Centennial

Derek Robnett had 19 kills, 12 digs and seven blocks to lead the Shadow Ridge boys volleyball team to a 23-25, 18-25, 25-20, 25-19, 15-13 victory over host Centennial on Friday.

Tanner Franklin added 16 kills and 11 digs, Andrew Wyatt had 51 assists and Jake Hoadley had 18 digs for the Mustangs.

Farries Gardner led Centennial with 19 kills. Sam Durnki added 44 assists for the Bulldogs, who got 10 kills from Teon Taylor and nine kills from Justin Madsen.

Bishop Gorman 3, Bonanza 2 — At Bonanza, Trevor Papock had 36 assists, 12 aces, and eight kills to lead the Gaels over the Bengals, 25-23, 19-25, 25-21, 18-25, 15-13.

Gorman’s Jaden Aranas also had 29 digs, and Aiden Napoli had 13 kills for the Gaels.

Kadin Warner led the Bengals with 16 kills. James Mead had 28 assists and six aces, Moises Sandoval had 16 digs, and Mark Thuet had eight kills and six digs for Bonanza.

Mojave 3, Tech 0 — At Mojave, Daronde McKinney had 10 kills and 13 aces, and Nathaniel Arredondo added 34 assists as the Rattlers rolled to a 25-7, 25-15, 25-13 win over the Roadrunners.

Tredall Blanchard-Davis had 13 kills, 12 digs and three aces, and Michael Jones had 18 digs and three aces for Mojave.

James Poole and Jerin Lascon each had three kills for Tech.

Del Sol 3, Western 0 — At Western, Van Stanley had 12 kills to lead the Dragons past the Warriors, 25-16, 25-21, 25-16.

Alejandro Marin had eight kills and two aces, and Alan Ramos-Flores had five kills, four aces and 18 assists.

Javier Silva had two kills and two blocks for the Warriors, and teammate Bernardo Jimenez-Pascual added six assists.

Cheyenne 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Cheyenne, Anthony Walker had nine kills as the Desert Shields beat the Miners, 25-20, 25-21, 25-23.

Brian Orellana had six kills and 18 assists, and Brandon Willcoxson added six kills for Cheyenne.

Emerald Acasili led Sunrise Mountain with 15 kills and 11 digs. Johnny Pedraza added 20 assists and seven digs, and teammate Anthony Proby-Jenson had five kills for the Miners.

Sky Pointe 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Sky Pointe, Carson Driscoll had five aces to power the Eagles over the Jaguars, 25-10, 25-11, 25-11.

Jaegen Driscoll had 13 kills, and Jaden MacFarlane had seven kills for Sky Pointe.

Durango Invitational

Spring Valley 2, Legacy 0 — At Durango, Brandon Mai had 16 kills and two blocks to lead the Grizzlies to a 25-22, 25-13 win over the Longhorns in the Durango Invitational.

Alan Quach added 18 assists, and Anthony Dodson had seven kills for Spring Valley.

Spring Valley 2, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Michael Page had six kills, and Anthony Dodson added five kills in a 26-24, 25-13 win over the Pioneers.

Brandon Mai had four kills for Spring Valley.
