Roundup: Palo Verde takes down Arbor View

Stephen Banks had 20 kills and 10 digs Wednesday as Palo Verde’s boys volleyball team edged host Arbor View, 25-18, 17-25, 19-25, 25-21, 15-9.

Kade Madsen added 10 kills, and Cooper Jarman had 28 assists and 14 digs for Palo Verde, which got 20 digs from Jackson Fife.

Jake Read paced Arbor View with 27 kills and 12 digs. Sam Belnap added 52 assists and 18 digs, and Logan Bollinger had eight kills and four blocks for the Aggies.

Durango 3, Desert Oasis 1 — At Desert Oasis, Tim Kedrowski had 16 assists, seven kills, three blocks and two aces, and Tai Foster provided 13 kills, four blocks, two assists and two digs as the Trailblazers beat the Diamondbacks, 16-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-16.

Jovan Lubura had nine kills and four blocks, and Tau Fotu supplied six kills and three blocks for Durango.

Josh Bastin recorded 12 assists, 11 digs and 10 kills, and Tyler Sadama added 16 assists, 12 digs and two aces for Desert Oasis. Liam Morrissey had eight digs, seven kills and three blocks, and Max Pretner added six kills for Desert Oasis.

Centennial 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Centennial, Farries Gardner put down 12 kills to power the Bulldogs to a 25-10, 25-12, 25-18 sweep of the Mountain Lions.

Teon Taylor had 10 kills, Tyler Godown supplied nine kills, and Nahmani Brown added eight kills for Centennial.

Frank Hines had nine digs and eight kills, and teammate Trenton Morss notched 18 digs to lead Sierra Vista.

Bonanza 3, Legacy 0 — At Bonanza, James Mead recorded 28 assists and 12 digs, and Victor Fajardo tallied eight digs and seven kills as the Bengals fought off the Longhorns, 28-26, 25-23, 27-25.

Kadin Warner put down 11 kills, Mark Thuet had nine kills and four digs, and Mataio Valoaja supplied six digs and five kills for Bonanza.

Nathan Johnson notched 30 assists and 11 digs, and Creed Laws had nine digs and eight kills for Legacy. Davick Clark supplied eight kills and eight digs, and Allen Nsaduga added 10 digs for Legacy.

Shadow Ridge 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Andrew Wyatt had 21 assists in the Mustangs’ 25-19, 25-11, 25-19 sweep of the Grizzlies.

Jordan Miller had seven kills and seven digs, and Tyson Mott added seven kills for Shadow Ridge.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Clark 0 — At Cimarron, the Spartans swept the Chargers, 25-13, 25-7, 25-10.
