Roundup: Palo Verde takes care of Cimarron-Memorial

Jared Brady had 18 kills as Palo Verde’s boys volleyball team rallied for a 21-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-12 road victory over the Cimarron-Memorial on Tuesday night.

Luke Johnston added 20 assists and five digs, and Cooper Jarman had five kills and 17 assists for Palo Verde. Kade Madsen added seven kills for the Panthers.

Fred Tito led Cimarron with 11 kills. Alex Olson added 25 assists, and teammate Jameson Valencia had nine kills and five digs for the Spartans.

Centennial 3, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Sam Durkin had 28 assists as the Bulldogs defeated the Aggies, 25-22, 25-16, 25-21.

Stephen Hitchcock had 15 digs, and Austin Anderson added 10 kills for Centennial, which got eight kills from Teon Taylor.

Sam Belnap had 30 assists to lead Arbor View. Jake Reid notched 11 kills, and Jaylen Harris added 10 kills for the Aggies.

Shadow Ridge 3, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Travis Hoadley notched 23 digs and six assists in the Mustangs’ 25-18, 25-21, 26-24 sweep of the Bengals.

Justin Ahlstrom had 18 assists and seven digs, and Garin Macfarlane added six kills for Shadow Ridge.

James Mead dished out 21 assists, and Mark Thuet tallied 10 digs and six kills to pace Bonanza.

Durango 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Tim Kedrowski had six kills, 12 assists and six digs to power the Trailblazers over the Longhorns, 25-16, 25-17, 25-19.

Tai Foster had 15 digs and five kills, and Tyson Guild had five kills for Durango. Braetin Foster had 21 digs, and Noah Vogt had 12 digs for the Trailblazers.

Garrett Linell had nine kills and six digs for Legacy. Nathan Johnson had 17 assists, Richard Steacy had six digs, Harrison Moore had six kills, and Davick Clark had five kills for the Longhorns.

Bishop Gorman 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Gorman, Trevor Papock supplied 35 assists, five kills and five aces to power the Gaels to a 25-20, 30-28, 27-25 sweep of the Diamondbacks.

Aiden Napoli provided 18 kills and five digs, and Julian Uy added 22 digs for Gorman.

Josh Bastin led Desert Oasis with 17 assists and 14 digs.

Sierra Vista 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Croix Reganit had nine kills to lead the Mountain Lions to a 25-11, 25-7, 25-22 victory over the Chargers.

Matt Wingo added four aces for Sierra Vista.
