Roundup: Frank Hines leads Sierra Vista over Desert Oasis

Frank Hines had 12 kills, 14 digs, four aces and two blocks in the Sierra Vista boys volleyball team’s 25-18, 25-19, 20-25, 25-22 home win over Desert Oasis.

Croix Reganit had 11 kills, seven digs and three blocks for Sierra Vista, and Trenton Morss had 18 digs and two aces.

Liam Morrissey had 11 digs, eight blocks and six kills for the Diamondbacks, Josh Bastin had 17 assists, five digs and two kills, and Max Pretner had five kills and three blocks.

Bishop Gorman 3, Legacy 1 — At Legacy, Trevor Papock had 19 kills, 27 assists, eight aces and six digs as the Gaels beat the Longhorns, 20-25, 25-15, 25-12, 25-21.

Anthony Leach had 12 kills and eight digs for the Gaels, and Daniel Johnson had five kills.

Nathan Johnson had 19 assists and nine digs for the Longhorns, Davick Clark had nine kills and five digs, and Allen Nsaduga had 12 digs.

Legacy’s Harrison Moore had 10 digs, and Marcus Ayers had five digs.

Centennial 3, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Stephen Hitchock had 14 digs and Farries Gardner had 18 kills for the Bulldogs in their 25-11, 25-15, 25-18 win over the Bengals.

Teon Taylor added 10 kills and four blocks for Centennial, and Andrew Shiheiber had 20 assists, two aces and four digs.

Victor Fajardo and Mark Thuet led Bonanza with eight kills apiece.

Palo Verde 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Palo Vede, Jared Brady and Kade Madsen each had 11 kills to power the Panthers to a 25-14, 25-13, 25-13 win over the Grizzlies.

Cooper Jarman added 17 assists for Palo Vede, which got 16 assists from Luke Johnston.

Anthony Dodson led Spring Valley with six kills, and Mariano Saucedo had four kills for the Grizzlies.

Arbor View 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Jaylen Harris and Logan Bollinger each had eight kills to power the Aggies over the Spartans, 28-26, 25-21, 25-16.

Sam Belnap had 35 assists for the Aggies, and Tyler Worthington had 20 digs.

Kilmore Amor had six kills and two blocks for the Spartans, Jameson Valencia had seven kills, and Alex Olson had 23 assists.

Shadow Ridge 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, the Mustangs pulled out a 25-16, 25-16, 25-14 win over the Chargers.

Tyson Mott led Shadow Ridge with 10 kills, Justin Ahlstrom had 26 assists and Travis Hoadley had 17 digs.
