Roundup: Centennial outlasts Cimarron

Austin Anderson had 20 kills and seven digs Wednesday to lead the Centennial boys volleyball team to a 25-20, 25-27, 25-14, 20-25, 15-11 victory over host Cimarron-Memorial.

Farries Gardner added 16 kills and four blocks, and Sam Durkin had 48 assists and 16 digs for the Bulldogs. Stephen Hitchcock added 23 digs for Centennial.

Alex Olson had 34 assists and eight digs to pace the Spartans. Fred Tito and Kilmore Amor each added nine kills, and Johnathan Mike had 22 digs for Cimarron.

Desert Oasis 3, Legacy 1 — At Legacy, Jacob Jaffe had 11 kills as the Diamondbacks defeated the Longhorns 25-10, 25-15, 18-25, 25-18.

Liam Morrissey and Josh Bastin each added nine kills for Desert Oassis. Morrissey also had seven digs and five blocks, and Bastin added 12 assists and seven digs.

Richard Steacy led Legacy with nine kills. Nathan Johnson had 19 assists, and teammate Davick Clark had 13 digs for the Longhorns.

Arbor View 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Sam Belnap had 36 assists to help power the Aggies to a 25-23, 25-18, 25-22 sweep of the Mountain Lions.

Jaylen Harris put down 13 kills, Jake Reid had 12 kills, and Gideon Belnap added nine kills for Arbor View.

Trenton Morss had 10 digs, and teammate Frank Hines supplied nine digs and eight kills to lead Sierra Vista.

Palo Verde 3, Bishop Gorman 0 — At Palo Verde, Cooper Jarman recorded 18 assists and six kills, and Andrew Tingey notched nine kills and seven digs to help the Panthers to sweep the Gaels, 25-23, 25-15, 25-11.

Jackson Fife had 16 digs, and Luke Johnston supplied 15 assists for Palo Verde.

Shadow Ridge 3, Durango 0 — At Durango, Jordan Miller had 12 kills, eight digs and four blocks, and Andrew Wyatt supplied 19 assists and four aces as the Mustangs got past Trailblazers, 25-23, 25-23, 25-22.

Travis Hoadley notched 32 digs and three aces, and Justin Ahlstrom added 13 assists for Shadow Ridge.

Tim Kedrowski led Durango with 18 kills, three blocks and two aces. Tai Foster had five kills, three aces and two blocks, and Tau Fotu added four kills and two digs for the Trailblazers.
