ROUNDUP: Centennial breezes past Cimarron

Tyler McAninch had nine kills Tuesday to help Centennial’s boys volleyball team to a 25-16, 25-13, 25-19 win over visiting Cimarron-Memorial.

Drew Staker added seven kills and Blake Davidson had four aces for the Bulldogs, who remained tied with Palo Verde for second place in the Northwest League at 4-1, one game behind Shadow Ridge.

Shadow Ridge 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Jeff Elmer tallied 12 assists, 10 digs and five kills to help the Mustangs beat the Desert Shields, 25-5, 25-13, 25-10.

Taylor Lancaster and Joe Pearson each had 10 kills for Shadow Ridge.

Neil Larson led Cheyenne with five assists.

Palo Verde 3, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Nick Hipwell had seven kills and Kyston Manuirirangi had six kills and four aces to lead the Panthers to a 25-8, 25-12, 25-14 win over the Rattlers.

Matt Lish added four kills, seven aces and 15 assists for Palo Verde.

Arbor View 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Taylor Jones dished out 21 assists to help the Aggies to a 25-11, 25-13, 25-10 win over the Longhorns.

Ray Lewis added eight kills for Arbor View, and Landon Steele had eight kills and seven aces.

Irwin Dizon had eight kills and Benjamin Noel 10 assists for Legacy.

Coronado 3, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Kevin Fouts had six kills and seven assists in the Cougars’ 25-12, 25-18, 25-15 win over the Dragons.

Coronado’s Jamel Morgan picked up four kills, and Bryan Glenn had three kills and two blocks.

Green Valley 3, Liberty 0 — At Green Valley, Cameron Olsen tallied 12 kills as the Gators beat the Patriots, 25-15, 25-16, 25-12.

Green Valley’s Taylor Mitchell logged 20 assists, six kills and four aces.

Liberty’s Brenden Reano tallied five kills.

Basic 3, Tech 0 — At Tech, Mike Lunen had 19 assists and three blocks and Jenson Lavallee posted 13 kills as the Wolves beat the Roadrunners, 25-11, 25-10, 25-14.

Austin Hafen had six kills and four blocks for Basic.

Mike Maglich led Tech with eight digs.
