ROUNDUP: Carter lifts Valley boys over Aggies

Sean Carter had 47 assists, seven digs and two kills to help Valley’s boys volleyball team to a 25-22, 25-27, 25-19, 25-19 road win over Arbor View on Friday.

Jack Heavey had 17 kills and 10 digs, and Matt Ballaro added 13 kills and 10 digs for Valley. Lorenzo Capannolo supplied 15 kills and five digs, and David Delaney had 19 digs for the Vikings.

Dalen Police had 17 digs for Arbor View, which got nine kills from Brian Porter and eight kills from Darien Bradley.

Centennial 3, Las Vegas 0 — At Centennial, Blake Frischknecht had 14 kills and seven digs to help the Bulldogs to a 25-18, 25-19, 25-23 win over the Wildcats.

Hunter Stratton added 10 kills and two aces, and Chet Durkin had 27 assists and three aces for Centennial.

Chris Kampshoff paced Las Vegas with seven kills and 10 digs. Blake Burgess added eight kills, and Shayne Marquez distributed 15 assists for the Wildcats.

Durango 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Durango, Paris Estrada supplied seven blocks, five kills, and four assists to lead the Trailblazers to a 25-14, 25-22, 25-14 sweep of the Jaguars.

Rontraye Rainey had seven blocks and six kills, and Davante Cooper added six blocks and four kills for Durango.

Bryan Garcia dished out 13 assists, Justin Ngarmnet had 12 digs, and Joel Perez added seven kills for Desert Pines.

Legacy 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Legacy, Trent Compton had 16 kills, five aces and 15 digs to power the Longhorns to a 25-17, 25-15, 25-16 victory over the Grizzlies.

Tanner Compton added eight kills, three blocks and 17 digs, and teammate Braden Liu had seven aces and 20 assists for Legacy, which got 15 digs from Anthony Cabrera.

Shadow Ridge 3, Green Valley 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Richard Sterling had seven kills and three blocks to lead the Mustangs over the Gators, 25-14, 25-17, 25-19.

Quinn Peterson supplied six kills and two assists for Shadow Ridge, which received 15 assists from Jalen Makaiwi.

Jake Johnson finished with seven kills, two assists and three digs for the Gators.

Eldorado 3, Tech 0 — At Eldorado, Joey Barnhurst tallied 16 assists as the Sundevils blanked the Roadrunners, 25-16, 25-22, 25-18.

David Tran supplied 13 digs, and Dakota Schultz had 10 kills for Eldorado.

Tyler Gardenhire had 10 kills and six digs to lead Tech.

Foothill 3, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, Kendell Andrews had 11 kills, and Jordan Primo added 13 assists as the Falcons swept the Rams, 25-19, 25-15, 25-18.

Chansten Chow had five kills and four blocks, and Raymond Buccat added 10 digs and three aces for Foothill.

Ryan Castano had nine assists for Rancho.
