ROUNDUP: Biani, Kraft help Mustangs top Skyhawks

Nick Biani and Aric Kraft each had 10 kills Wednesday to help Shadow Ridge’s boys volleyball team to a 25-20, 23-25, 27-25, 25-21 home win over Silverado

Jalen Makaiwi had 39 assists and two aces for the Mustangs.

Curtis Hadland had 22 kills and 14 digs for the Skyhawks, who got 38 assists Jake Gottfredson and eight kills from Austin Hunt.

Desert Oasis 3, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Nade Norr had 20 digs and six kills to help lead the Diamondbacks to a 20-25, 25-16, 25-16, 25-20 win over the Mountain Lions.

Reese Austin and Kodi Leslie each supplied seven kills for Desert Oasis.

Srdjan Cvijetic had 11 kills to lead Sierra Vista.

Legacy 3, Durango 0 — At Durango, Tanner Compton had 12 kills, 14 digs and two blocks to help the Longhorns sweep the Trailblazers, 25-15, 25-15, 25-14.

Trent Compton had 10 kills and three aces, and Antoine Tillmon added seven kills for Legacy, which got three kills and four aces from Braden Liu.

Pedro Abrego had 10 assists for Durango. Davante Cooper had five blocks, and teammate Rontraye Rainey added three kills and six digs for the Trailblazers.

Coronado 3, Palo Verde 0 — At Palo Verde, the Cougars swept the Panthers, 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.

Mitchell Tingey had eight kills and five digs to led Palo Verde. Andrew Weston added 28 assists and 17 digs for the Panthers, who got seven kills and two blocks from Rich Ryerson.

Mojave 3, Western 0 — At Western, Christian Limtiaco had 11 kills, nine digs and three aces to lead the Rattlers by the Warriors, 25-14, 25-20, 25-18.

Darryl Miller-Green added five kills and six blocks, and Jose Tovar had 10 assists for Mojave.

Vadell Wilson had six kills, and Braeden Smith added two kills and five assists for Western.

Arbor View 3, Clark 0 — At Arbor View, Kaneen Manuel had six kills, six blocks, four aces and two digs to lead the Aggies past the Chargers, 25-13, 25-14, 25-18.

Brian Porter added nine kills and three digs for Arbor View.

Raydell Perez led Clark with five kills.

Eldorado 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Joey Barnhurst had 14 assists, and Jacob Hollingsworth had six kills and six blocks to help the Sundevils defeat the Pioneers, 25-17, 25-9, 25-18.

David Tran had eight kills for Eldorado.

Jose Piedra had seven kills, and Immanuel Tufuga had six kills for Canyon Springs, which got 13 assists from Carl Esteban.

Spring Valley 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Spring Valley, Donald Keith had nine kills, three blocks and two aces to help the Grizzlies to a 25-21, 25-15, 25-22 win over the Jaguars.

Bradd Robinson added five kills, six blocks and three digs, and James Nunez had 26 assists and two kills for Spring Valley.

Justin Ngarmnet had 12 digs and five kills for Desert Pines. Bryan Garcia had 10 assists, and Joel Perez had three blocks and four aces for the Jaguars.

Basic 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Basic, Dakota Wright supplied eight assists and four aces to help the Wolves to a 28-26, 25-12, 25-20 sweep of the Miners.

Antraye Johnson had six kills for Basic.

Ricco Lucas had 16 assists, and teammate Darius Jackson had six kills to lead Sunrise Mountain.

Liberty 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Liberty, Jayden Roberts had 10 kills to help the Patriots to a 25-13, 25-14, 25-17 sweep of the Desert Shields.

Eric Padilla added six kills, and Alex Tejada had five kills for Liberty.

Deonte Perkins had five kills for Cheyenne.
