Grant Tingey finished with four kills, four digs and four blocks on Wednesday as Palo Verde’s boys volleyball team captured its second state title in three years with a 25-16, 25-16, 18-25, 25-23 win over Las Vegas in a matchup of region champions at Chaparral High.
Mojave won its fourth straight Class 3A boys volleyball state title with a 25-20, 25-18, 25-16 sweep of Cheyenne on Wednesday at Chaparral.
Brandon Kampshoff had 20 kills and 16 digs, and Kyle Monton added 35 digs to help Las Vegas High’s boys volleyball team outlast Centennial 25-21, 21-25, 25-23, 21-25, 15-10 in a Class 4A state semifinal at Coronado on Tuesday.
Mojave’s boys volleyball team made quick work of Del Sol, posting a 25-18, 25-20, 25-9 victory over the Dragons in the 3A state semifinals at Chaparral.
