ROUNDUP: Matlovic powers Bonanza girls past Chargers

Alison Matlovic went 3-0 in singles Tuesday to help Bonanza’s girls tennis team collect a 10-8 win at Clark.

Julia Hagen and Abbey Escala were 3-0 in doubles play for the Chargers.

Centennial 9, Arbor View 9 — At Arbor View, Jenicka Chow and Jade Navato went 3-0 in doubles as the Bulldogs earned a tie with the Aggies after the teams did not play a tiebreaker.

Savannah Sgro and Kaity McDaniel were 2-0 in doubles for Centennial.

Takeyrah Reed was 3-0 in singles, and Alejandra Portillo went 2-0 for Arbor View.

Faith Lutheran 13, Shadow Ridge 5 — At Shadow Ridge, Renee Vogel was 2-0 in singles to help the Crusaders dispatch the Mustangs.

Kylee Whittle and Kayley Green went 2-1 in doubles for Shadow Ridge.

Spring Valley 14, Virgin Valley 4 — At Mesquite, Sierra Weyer and Tiffany Tavares each went 3-0 in singles to help the Grizzlies defeat the Bulldogs.

Lark Dodenbeir and Casey Anderson were 3-0 in doubles for Virgin Valley.

Cimarron-Memorial 15, Cheyenne 3 — At Cheyenne, Elena Schmidt, Lily Garcia and Nisha Johnson all went 3-0 in singles as the Spartans cruised past the Desert Shields.

Cauleen Bradley and Jesenia Mangual were 3-0 in doubles for Cheyenne.

Adelson School 12, Western 5 — At Western, the doubles teams of Nikki Weiland and Stephanie Buhyoff, and Lennoy Schwartz and Olivia Wiener both went 2-0 to help the Lions defeat the Warriors.

Cierra White was 3-0 in singles for Western.

Desert Oasis 10, Durango 8 — At Durango, the Diamondbacks edged the Trailblazers.

Bishop Gorman 18, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, the Gaels swept the Mountain Lions.

The Meadows 14, Legacy 4 — At Legacy, Erika Mauban and Erika Reiter each went 3-0 in singles as the Mustangs rolled past the Longhorns.

Taler Brazell and Amanda Brazell went 3-0 in doubles, and Bhavana Zanga was 2-0 in singles for The Meadows.

Palo Verde 12, Mojave 0 — The Panthers won by forfeit.
