ROUNDUP: Fischer sweeps, helps Del Sol girls win tiebreaker over Valley

Katie Fischer went 3-0 in singles Tuesday and helped Del Sol’s girls tennis team to a 10-9 tiebreaker win at Valley.

The teams split their 18 regulation sets and went to a tie-breaker, which the Dragons won on points, 30-28.

Asheley Turner and Gina Rosetti added a 3-0 sweep in doubles for Del Sol.

Canyon Springs 10, Spring Valley 8 — At Canyon Springs, Alecs Cook and Cindy Burdasch went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Pioneers past the Grizzlies.

Rebecca Breland and Christian Earl each went 2-1 in singles, and the doubles team of Tianna Barnes and Addy Ascencio also went 2-1 for the Pioneers.

Tiffany Tavares was 3-0 in singles for the Grizzlies, and the doubles team of Laura Estinson and Vicky Ma went 2-1 for Spring Valley.

Sunrise Mountain 10, Mojave 8 — At Mojave, the Miners earned a 10-8 victory over the Rattlers.

Hannah Tallock went 3-0 in singles, and Karen Valle and Paloma Garcia went 3-0 in doubles for Mojave.

Arbor View 15, Virgin Valley 3 — At Arbor View, Alexandra Portillo and Victoria Portillo each went 3-0 in singles to help the Aggies down the Bulldogs.

Jessica Owen and Natalie Winterton, and Tallie Meyers and Page Elsea each went 3-0 in doubles play for Arbor View.

Bonanza 17, Chaparral 1 — At Chaparral, Bonanza’s Julia Speraw and Marnie Nelson each finished 3-0 in singles to help the Benglas rout the Cowboys.

Ericka Smith went 2-1 in singles for the Bengals.

Durango 14, Centennial 4 — At Centennial, Kaleena Oliver and Claire Melo each went 3-0 in singles play to lead the Trailblazers past the Bulldogs.

Jessica Tonks and Jade Novato teamed up to go 2-0 in doubles for Centennial.

Rancho 9, Clark 9 — At Rancho, Tiffana Grant was 3-0 in singles to help the Rams earn a tie with the Chargers.

Maddie Pasimio and Selen Endy went 2-1 in doubles to lead Clark.

The teams did not play a tiebreaker to determine a winner in the match.

Las Vegas 16, Foothill 2 — At Foothill, Val Shively went 3-0 in singles to lead the visiting Wildcats past the Falcons.

The Meadows 17, Green Valley 1 — At The Meadows, McKay Novak and Austin McMillan both went 3-0 in singles to help the Mustangs rout the Gators.

The Meadows’ doubles tandems of Taler Brazell and Amanda Brazell, Shannon Chen and Anjeli Daulat and Jenna Palazzo and Jasmine Sharma all went 3-0.

Eldorado 11, Liberty 7 — At Eldorado, Alexis Sama, Maria Bonsignore and Suesun Sapradit all went 2-1 in singles to help the Sundevils defeat the Patriots.

Melanie Pabst and Wendy Magana were 2-1 in doubles for Eldorado.

Liberty’s Ashley Wao-Udin was 3-0 in singles, and Sina Gebrai and Janelle Dysico were 3-0 in doubles.

Silverado 12, Cimarron-Memorial 6 — At Cimarron, Sasie Hasegawa and Melanie Srok each went 2-0 in singles.

The Spartans’ Solena Mednicoff and Stephanie Kaplan were 2-1 in doubles.

Palo Verde 10, Coronado 8 — At Coronado, Victoire Saperstein was 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Brittany Grandison and

Kara Grandison also went 3-0 as the Panthers nipped the Cougars.

Sarah Pate and Vienca Vianzon finished 2-0 in doubles for Coronado.

Legacy 10, Moapa Valley 8 — At Overton, Unique Hawkins and Jami Oltmanns each went 3-0 in singles as the Longhorns edged the Pirates.

Desert Oasis 12, Boulder City 6 — At Boulder City, the Diamondbacks downed the Eagles.

Faith Lutheran 15, Sierra Vista 3 — At Faith Lutheran, the Crusaders rolled past the Mountain Lions.

Basic 12, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, Basic won by forfeit over the Jaguars.

The Western at Cheyenne match was a double forfeit as neither team fielded the requisite six players.
