ROUNDUP: Demarta’s singles play helps Faith Lutheran girls beat Cimarron

Olivia Demarta went 3-0 in singles Thursday to help Faith Lutheran’s girls tennis team to a 12-6 win at Cimarron-
Memorial.
Alex Edelman and Nikki Pizzoferrato went 3-0 in doubles for Faith Lutheran.
Starlyn Thomas and Taj Sivertsen each went 2-1 in singles for Cimarron.
Centennial 14, Mojave 4 — At Centennial, Leslie Gielser and Jordan Sgro went 3-0 in doubles, and Jade Navato went 2-0 in singles as the Bulldogs beat the Rattlers.
The Meadows 17, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, Shilpa Daulat and Erika Mauban went 3-0 in doubles as The Meadows rolled past the Desert Shields.
Shadow Ridge 13, Legacy 5 — At Shadow Ridge, the Mustangs downed Legacy.
Silverado 13, Basic 5— At Silverado, sisters Kristen and Nicole Santero each went 3-0 in singles to help the Skyhawks beat the Wolves.
Foothill 11, Tech 7— At Tech, Katherine Zurita went 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Elizabeth Philpott and Jan Serunina went 3-0 to help the Falcons beat the Roadrunners.
Coronado 12, Green Valley 6— At Coronado, the Cougars’ doubles teams of Liz Gibbons and Casey Thevenot, and Jonelle Espinoza and Lea Cohen both went 3-0 as the Cougars beat the Gators.
Alyssa Bowman went 3-0 in singles for Green Valley.
Durango 11, Clark 7— At Clark, the Trailblazers had three doubles teams go 3-0 as they held off the Chargers.
Durango’s Jamie Dean and Katy Moore went 3-0, as did the teams of Claire Melo and Andrea Melo, and Josie Dean and Alyse Kurley.
Pei Wei Zhang went 3-0 and Sharon Fang 2-0 in singles for Clark.
Bishop Gorman 16, Spring Valley 2— At Gorman, Ciera Cortney and Amanda Silvestri went 2-0 in doubles as the Gaels whipped the Grizzlies.
Desert Oasis 11, Bonanza 7 — At Bonanza, Danica Ingwaldson was 3-0 in singles to help Desert Oasis down the Bengals.
Bonanza’s Emily Ruskowitz and Isabella Minoli went 3-0 in doubles, and teammate Alison Matlovic was 2-1 in singles.
Virgin Valley 12, Western 0 — At Mesquite, the host Bulldogs won by forfeit.
 
Palo Verde 14, Arbor View 4 — At Arbor View, the Panthers rolled past the Aggies.
