ROUNDUP: Burg lifts Crusader girls past Longhorns

Taylor Burg went 2-0 in singles play Friday to lead Faith Lutheran’s girls tennis team to a 10-8 win at Legacy.

Kathleen Wright was 2-1 in singles for the Crusaders.

Unique Hawkins was 3-0 in singles for the Longhorns.

Centennial 16, Shadow Ridge 2 — At Centennial, Alyza Mijares and Danielle Gordon each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Bulldogs to a rout of the Mustangs.

Michela Albright and Nikki Morre were 3-0 in doubles play for Centennial, and teammates Genica Chow and Jade Novato finished 2-0 in doubles.

Clark 15, Sierra Vista 3 — At Clark, Julia Hagen and Abbey Escala were 2-0 in doubles as the Chargers rolled the Mountain Lions.

Madee Pasimio and Sharon Fang each went 2-0 in singles for Clark.

Desert Oasis 11, Spring Valley 7 — At Desert Oasis, Bella Casanova and Christina Casanova went 3-0 in doubles as the Diamondbacks downed the Grizzlies.

Tiffany Tavares and Sierra Weyer each finished 3-0 in singles for Spring Valley.

Durango 12, Western 6 — At Western, the doubles teams of Katy Moore and Celeste Chapman, and Andrea Melo and Paula Valdez each went 3-0 as the Trailblazers downed the Warriors.

Christina Sanders was 2-0 in singles for Durango.

Palo Verde 18, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Andrea Rathbun was 3-0 in singles to lead the Panthers past the Desert Shields.

Palo Verde’s doubles team of Ioana Geneva and Ivana Geneva also went 3-0.

Bishop Gorman 18, Virgin Valley 0 — At Gorman, the doubles teams of Aspen Minden and Bailey Roberts, and Kelsey McMillan and Erica Silvestri each went 3-0 as the Gaels blanked the Bulldogs.

The Meadows 16, Arbor View 2 — At Arbor View, Bhavana Janga and Anjali Daulat each went 3-0 in singles as the Mustangs rolled past the Aggies.

Cimarron-Memorial 12, Mojave 0 — The Spartans won by forfeit.
