ROUNDUP: Roth lifts Mustang boys past Spartans

Evan Roth went 3-0 in singles play Friday to lead The Meadows’ boys tennis team to an 11-7 win over visiting Cimarron-Memorial.

The Mustangs’ doubles teams of Adam Sklamberg and Peter Sklamberg, and R.J. Haskins and Charles Adams both went 3-0.

Jonas Wellan was 2-1 in singles for the Spartans.

Faith Lutheran 11, Arbor View 7 — At Faith Lutheran, Jake Benowitz was 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Sean Kennedy and Parker Gatewood was 3-0 to lead the Crusaders by the Aggies.

Sam Taylor went 2-1 in singles for Faith Lutheran.

Manuel Portillo was 2-1 in singles, and the doubles team of Blake Chide and Jaeden Milam went 2-1 for Arbor View.

Valley 13, Rancho 5 — At Rancho, Jack Heavey and David Delaney each went 3-0 in singles to power the Vikings past the Rams.

Mike Coppedge and Lorenzo Capannolo went 3-0 in doubles play for Valley.

John Carnate and Peng Huang were 2-1 in doubles for Rancho.

Clark 11, Desert Oasis 7 — At Clark, Edwin Onattu and Chaichanya Ingle went 3-0 in doubles to help the Chargers top the Diamondbacks.

The doubles teams of Kevin Ross and Kevin Wang, and Caleb Chen and Mark McCrary each went 2-0 for Clark.

Yuaseng Huang went 2-1 in singles for Desert Oasis.

Legacy 14, Cheyenne 4 — At Legacy, Kevin Noorda was 3-0 in singles to help the Longhorns cruise past the Desert Shields.

Zach Williams and Jimmy Hou were 3-0 in doubles for Legacy.

Alex Dominguez and Alex Pachecl were 2-1 in doubles for Cheyenne.

Eldorado 12, Durango 6 — At Eldorado, the doubles teams of Joey Barnhurst and Seattle Stoneback, and Dakota Schult and David Becker each went 3-0 to lead the Sundevils past the Trailblazers.

Brandon Gallegos and Jacob Hollingsworth were 2-0 in doubles for Eldorado.

Alex Zelenovic was 3-0 in singles for Durango.

Spring Valley 14, Western 4 — At Spring Valley, Ozzie Tavares and Adam Lychuk each went 3-0 in singles to lift the Grizzlies past the Warriors.

Eric Clark and Alex Tasaka were 2-0 in doubles for Spring Valley.

Shadow Ridge 18, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Jeremy Jones and Johnneil Rojas each went 2-0 in singles as the Mustangs swept the Rattlers.

Virgin Valley 14, Sierra Vista 4 — At Mesquite, Addison Vanhouten went 3-0 in singles as the Bulldogs rolled past the Mountain Lions.

Jacob Mikkelsen and Nate Hughes were 3-0 in doubles for Virgin Valley.

Arash Adrangi went 2-0 in singles, and Leo Heraclio and Nick Cool were 2-0 in doubles for Sierra Vista.

Moapa Valley 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — The Pirates won by forfeit.

Chaparral 12, Desert Pines 0 — The Cowboys won by forfeit.

Las Vegas 12, Canyon Springs 0 — The Wildcats won by forfeit.
