ROUNDUP: Portillo, Arbor View boys edge The Meadows

Manuel Portillo went 2-0 in singles play Friday to help Arbor View’s boys tennis team post a 10-8 home win over The Meadows.

Faith Lutheran 13, Legacy 5 — At Legacy, Jake Benowitz and Sam Taylor each went 3-0 in singles to help the Crusaders top the Longhorns.

Sean Kennedy and Parker Gatewood were 2-1 in doubles play for Faith Lutheran.

Legacy’s Kevin Noorda and Keith Noorda were 2-1 in doubles.

Centennial 15, Shadow Ridge 3 — At Centennial, Greg Madsen was 2-0 in singles in the Bulldogs’ rout of the Mustangs.

Centennial’s doubles teams of Brandon Fish and Casey Moses, and Parker McDonough and Tyler Hardy each went 2-0.

Spring Valley 11, Desert Oasis 7 — At Desert Oasis, Eric Clark was 3-0 in singles to help the Grizzlies edge the Diamondbacks.

Feng Huang and Nick Fragoso finished 3-0 in doubles for Desert Oasis.

Durango 10, Western 7 — At Western, Kent Rockwell and Jon Day were 3-0 in doubles to help the Trailblazers top the Warriors.

Ryan Garbowski was 3-0 in singles for Western.

Clark 13, Sierra Vista 5 — At Clark, Joseph Maalouf and Deric Pang each went 2-0 in singles as the Chargers topped the Mountain Lions.

Bishop Gorman 16, Virgin Valley 2 — At Gorman, Cody Miller was 3-0 in singles to lead the Gaels past the Bulldogs.

The doubles teams of Jalen Paulos and Conner Pensivy, and Michael Bessen and Joseph Conners each went 3-0 for Gorman.

Addison Vanhouten was 1-2 in singles, and Jacob Mickelson and Nate Hughes finished 1-2 in doubles for Virgin Valley.

Palo Verde 12, Cheyenne 0 — The Panthers won by forfeit.

Cimarron-Memorial 12, Mojave 0 — The Spartans won by forfeit.
