ROUNDUP: Cline helps Las Vegas boys down Eldorado

Caleb Cline won two events at Whitney Ranch on Saturday to help Las Vegas High’s boys swimming team edge Eldorado, 108-105.
Cline captured the 200 freestyle in 2 minutes, 15.62 seconds and the 100 butterfly in 1:03.37.
The Sundevils’ Colt Thomas won the 100 freestyle (58.56) and 100 backstroke (1:10.69), and teammate Ken Lindhorst took the 200 individual medley (2:42.66) and 100 breaststroke (1:14.92).
Cimarron-Memorial 203, Desert Oasis 61 — At Whitney Ranch, Cutter Haupt and Alex Lin each won twice to lead the Spartans past Desert Oasis.
Haupt won the 200 (1:55.73) and 500 freestyles (5:09.81). Lin took the 50 freestyle (24.91) and 100 backstroke (1:05.03).
Palo Verde 189, Faith Lutheran 83 — At Municipal, Gianna Sesto and Robbie Hill each won twice to help the Panthers down the Crusaders.
Sesto captured the 200 (1:44.22) and 500 freestyles (5:35.30). Hill won the 100 freestyle (49.99) and 100 breaststroke (1:04.00).
Boulder City 189½, Silverado 103½ — At Multi-Generational, Camron Walker, Zane Grothe and Cody Molisee each won twice as the Eagles topped the Skyhawks.
Walker won the 200 individual medley in 2:05.43 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.62. Grothe took the 200 freestyle (1:45.5) and 100 backstroke (58.13). Molisee captured the 50 (22.53) and 100 freestyles (50.94).
Liberty 128, Tech 95 — At Multi-Generational, Donald Madson won the 200 individual medley in 2:29.5 and the 100 backstroke in 1:02.43 to help the Patriots defeat the Roadrunners.
Johnny Funk won the 200 (1:49.65) and 500 freestyles (5:06.65) for Tech.
Shadow Ridge 122, Sierra Vista 87 — At Multi-Generational, Stuart Jacobson’s wins in the 200 (1:50.98) and 500 freestyles (4:51.91) helped the Mustangs beat the Lions.
Emile Maritz captured the 50 freestyle (24.05) and 100 breaststroke (1:11.87) for Sierra Vista.
Foothill 187, Basic 94 — At Multi-Generational, the Falcons swept the relay events and used its depth to defeat the Wolves.
Basic’s Daniel Maman won the 50 freestyle (24.17) and 100 butterfly (1:01.90), and teammate Carlos Guzman took the 200 individual medley (2:28.45) and 100 breaststroke (4:07.59).
Green Valley 155, Coronado 131 — At Multi-Generational, the Gators won only five of the 11 contested events but still defeated the Cougars.
Coronado’s Hans Nossen won the 200 individual medley (2:08.80) and 100 breaststroke (1:06.71), and teammate Jacob Luna took the 50 (22.38) and 100 freestyles (52.31).
Desert Pines 104, Virgin Valley 37 — At Multi-Generational, the Jaguars swept the relays and won eight of the 10 contested events to top the Bulldogs.
Bishop Gorman 164, Durango 121 — At Municipal, Ian Sinclair and Ryan Shovlin each took two events as the Gaels swam past the Trailblazers.
Sinclair claimed the 100 butterfly in 55.88 and the 500 freestyle in 4:59.97. Shovlin won the 200 individual medley (2:01.68) and 100 freestyle (49.74).
Bonanza 184, Spring Valley 75 — At Municipal, Timmy Kuskowski and Sam Weiser each collected two wins as the Bengals downed the Grizzlies.
Kuskowski took the 100 butterfly (1:01.97) and 100 freestyle (53.65). Weiser won the 100 breaststroke (1:03.02) and the 200 individual medley (2:03.43).
Dylan Wolf took the 100 backstroke in 54.96 and the 500 freestyle in 4:42.96 for Spring Valley.
Canyon Springs 113, Cheyenne 42 — At Whitney Ranch, Dennis Burdasch and Rafael Alcala each won twice as the Pioneers prevailed over the Desert Shields.
Burdasch took the 50 (24.86) and 100 freestyles (55.28). Alcala won the 100 breaststroke (1:22.40) and 500 freestyle (6:33.68).
Moapa Valley 118, Valley 56 — At Whitney Ranch, the Pirates won nine of the 11 contested events to down the Vikings.
Nicholas Freeman won the 100 butterfly in 1:18.71 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:19.34 for Valley.
Rancho 176, Western 66 — At Whitney Ranch, J.R. Deem won the 100 butterfly in 56.27 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:15.66 as the Rams swept all 11 events and downed the Warriors.
Del Sol 12, Mojave 0 — At Municipal, the Dragons were a winner by forfeit over the Rattlers.
