Johnny Williams and Luke Trafton each won two individual events Saturday to help Palo Verde’s boys swimming team to a 203-74 win over Spring Valley at Pavilion.
Williams won the 200-yard freestyle in 1 minute, 53.96 seconds and the 100 freestyle in 50.68. Trafton took the 200 individual medley in 2:10.1 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.14.
Arbor View 197, Sierra Vista 80 — At Pavilion, Austin Clary won the 200 freestyle in 2:19.49 and took the diving competition with 73.95 points to help the Aggies defeat the Mountain Lions.
Cimarron-Memorial 144, Bonanza 90 — At Pavilion, Bridger Karlik, Douglas Vanderhyde and Anthony Palmer each won two events to lead the Spartans by the Bengals.
Karlik won the 200 freestyle (2:21.75) and 500 freestyle (6:14.52), Vanderhyde took the 50 freestyle (22.68) and 100 freestyle (53.74), and Palmer won the 200 individual medley (2:39.25) and 100 breaststroke (1:16.14).
Cheyenne 111, Western 107 — At Pavilion, Morgan Thompson won the 100 butterfly in 59.16 and the 500 freestyle in 5:14.44 to help the Desert Shields nip the Warriors.
Western’s Halim Koljenovic won the 100 freestyle in 54.0 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:07.54.
Boulder City vs. Tech — At Multi-Generational, Sam Sauerbrei and Adam Peterson each won two events to help the Eagles to a win over the Roadrunners. Team scores were not available.
Sauerbrei claimed the 200 individual medley in 2:01.06 and the 500 freestyle in 5:00.02. Peterson won 200 freestyle in 1:53.44 and the 100 butterfly in 57.45.
Coronado vs. Eldorado — At Multi-Generational, Tyler Miao and Nick Moorehead each won two events for the Cougars. Team scores were not available.
Miao won the 200 freestyle in 1:57.28 and the 500 freestyle in 5:22.05. Moorehead took the 50 freestyle in 23.62 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.78.
Green Valley vs. Rancho — At Multi-Generational, Connor Smith and Carter Friedrich each won twice for Green Valley. Team scores were not available.
Smith won the 200 individual medley in 2:14.04 and the 500 freestyle in 5:33.72. Friedrich took the 100 freestyle in 51.59 and the 200 freestyle in 1:55.9.
Valley vs. Las Vegas — At Multi-Generational, Joshua Moore and Kyle Moore each won two events for the Vikings. Team scores were not available.
