BOYS SWIMMING: Legacy knocks off Cheyenne

Legacy’s boys swimming team won all three relays, and Tristan Arruti won a pair of individual events en route to a 153-75 victory over Cheyenne at Municipal on Saturday.

Arruti won the 100-yard butterfly in 57.36 second, and took the 50 freestyle in 23.47 to lead the Longhorns.

Shadow Ridge 194, Clark 92 — At Pavilion, Cade Jewell won the 50 freestyle (24.12) and 200 freestyle (1:59.57) to lead the Mustangs over the Chargers.

Palo Verde 228, Faith Lutheran 55 — At Pavilion, the Panthers won every event for an easy victory over the Crusaders.

Ahmed Mohamed won the 100 butterfly (54.55) and 100 backstroke (1:04.28) for Palo Verde, and teammate Dylan Sweikert won the 50 freestyle (22.89) and 100 freestyle (51.23).

Bishop Gorman 162, Centennial 120 — At Pavilion, Dylan Becker finished first in the 200 individual medley (2:09.59) and second in the 100 butterfly to lead the Gaels over the Bulldogs.

Sawyer Grimes won the 100 backstroke (55.84) and 100 butterfly (56.73) for Centennial.

Arbor View 196, Desert Oasis 53 — At Pavilion, the Aggies took the top two spots in the three relay races as they coasted to a win over the Diamondbacks.

Michael Finetti won the 50 freestyle (23.64) and the 100 freestyle (52.33) for Arbor View.

Green Valley 203, Liberty 73 — At Municipal, Gabriel Weber won two individual races to lead the Gators past the Patriots.

Weber won the 200 freestyle (1:48.06) and 500 freestyle (4:52.62) for Green Valley.

Cheyenne 94, Cimarron-Memorial 36 — At Municipal, the Desert Shields won both contested relay races in a victory over the Spartans.

Aaron Reed had wins in the 100 backstroke (1:06.38) and diving (136.05) for Cheyenne.
