ROUNDUP: Wilson bats Spring Valley past Pahrump Valley
Jasmine Wilson was 4-for-4 with a triple, two doubles and two stolen bases, leading Spring Valley’s softball team past visiting Pahrump Valley, 7-4, on Friday.
Katie Campo had two hits to help Spring Valley, which scored three runs in the fourth inning to take a 6-4 lead.
Taylor Raymer was 3-for-4 with a triple to lead the Trojans.
Desert Oasis 10, Bishop Gorman 3 — At Majestic Park, Nicole Liakos had three doubles and two RBIs to help Desert Oasis defeat the Gaels.
The Diamondbacks took an 8-0 lead with seven runs in the top of the third inning.
Gorman’s Sierra Doehrmann went 3-for-4.
Bonanza 12, Sierra Vista 2 — At Bonanza, Emily Osborn and Cheyenne Wells had two hits apiece, and the Bengals led 10-0 after three innings.
Sam Snyder pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts. Osborn, Snyder and Brittany Spencer each doubled, and Nicolette Lind tripled.
Clark 14, Western 0 — At Clark, Elisa Dawson struck out 10 and threw a one-hitter with no walks to lead the Chargers to a five-inning win.
Dawson was 3-for-4 and Anna Jaehn and Julianna Thornock each went 2-for-2. Thornock drove in two runs.
Valley 15, Chaparral 5 — At Chaparral, Lorena Villamar and Mickayla Romero went 4-for-4 for the Vikings, who overcame a 5-0 first-inning deficit to defeat the Cowboys.
Rancho 10, Canyon Springs 7 — At Canyon Springs, Amber Marlett went 4-for-5 with two doubles and a triple to help the Rams rally past the Pioneers.
Rancho trailed 6-5 before scoring four runs in the sixth inning and one in the seventh.
Eldorado 11, Desert Pines 3 — At Desert Pines, Shelbee West pitched a six-hitter as the Sundevils beat the Jaguars.
Teara Purvis tripled for Eldorado, which broke a 3-3 tie with six runs in the sixth.
Boulder City 5-11, Virgin Valley 1-0 — At Mesquite, Taylor McKeever’s three-run homer highlighted a five-run fifth as the Eagles won the first game.
Brittany Patt drove in the other two runs with a triple. Karlee Koopman pitched a one-hitter with eight strikeouts and Virgin Valley’s run was unearned.
In the second game, Dylan Scott threw a five-hit shutout to help the Eagles sweep. Ali Rants was 4-for-4 with three runs, and Ariel O’Neil was 3-for-4 with three RBIs.
Faith Lutheran 4-5, Moapa Valley 3-2 — At Faith Lutheran, Maya Barnes’ squeeze bunt in the sixth inning of the second game broke a 2-2 tie and lifted the Crusaders to a sweep.
Kaitlyn Patterson was 2-for-3 for Faith Lutheran in the second game. Caitlyn Crosby was 2-for-3 in the opener, helping the Crusaders take a 3-0 lead into the sixth.
Kellie Kersey was the winning pitcher in both games.
Lincoln County 20-15, The Meadows 4-0 — At The Meadows, Melanie Florence went 3-for-4 with a home run in the first game to propel the Lynx.
In the second game, Beth Pearson was 3-for-3 with a home run.
Pahranagat Valley 12-12, Lake Mead 2-3 — At Lake Mead, Roxie Lasike was 3-for-4 in each game as Pahranagat Valley swept the Eagles.
Lasike tripled in the opener and doubled and tripled in the nightcap.
Mary Higbee went 3-for-4 and Addie Canning 3-for-3 in the first game for Pahranagat Valley.
In the second game, Molly Hansen, Tammy Spencer and Canning each went 2-for-4.
Mountain View 13-15, West Wendover 10-11 — At Mountain View, Ellie Markwardt homered in the opening game and had a two-run single in the second game as the Saints overcame a rough defensive day to sweep West Wendover.
Amber Gomez and Miranda Locke each had a two-run single in the nightcap for Mountain View, which committed 10 errors in the opener and 12 in the second game.
Mountain View's Alexia Alley tossed a five-hitter in the second game. Teammate Valencia Casey threw a six-hitter with nine strikeouts in the opener.
