ROUNDUP: Spencer’s complete game lifts Bonanza past Palo Verde

Courtney Spencer went 2-for-2 and pitched a complete game Tuesday as the Bonanza softball team held on to beat host Palo Verde, 5-4.
Aimee Doyle went 2-for-2 with a double, and Emily Osborn added a double for Bonanza.
Lauryn Stover led Palo Verde with three hits and three runs, and Erika Stratton supplied a double.
Durango 11, Faith Lutheran 1— At Durango, Jaexie Balilea went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run, and Taylor Short tossed a five-inning no-hitter as the Trailblazers downed Crusaders.
Lindsay Williams also homered for Durango. Nicole Schultz added two doubles.
 
Arbor View 10, Valley 2 — At Valley, Danielle Nolan was 2-for-5  with two stolen bases and three RBIs to lead the Aggies over the Vikings.
Christine Callahan was 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Aggies.
Cristina Medina was 2-for-3, and Vanessa Corona had a double for Valley.
Eldorado 10, Mojave 0 — At Eldorado, Ashley Jarzombek and Shelbee West combined on a five-inning no-hitter as the Sundevils routed Mojave.
Jarzombek struck out six in three innings of work. West fanned four in two innings.
Megan Jaramillo went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs for the Sundevils. Denise Ortega was 2-for-2 with two doubles and an RBI, and Erica Estrada went 2-for-3 with two runs.
Liberty 10, Cheyenne 0 — At Liberty, Breanna English tossed a two-hitter and struck out nine as the Patriots rolled past the Desert Shields.
Rhiannon Beck went 3-for-3 for Liberty. Francesca Foti hit a bases-loaded triple, and Nikki Blindeagle had a two-run triple.
Legacy 11, Canyon Springs 1— At Canyon Springs, Sierra Pico threw a four-hit complete game and added a double and a triple as the Longhorns pounded the Pioneers.
Basic 5, Rancho 0 — At Basic, Lacey Romo pitched a shutout and was 2-for-3 with a double to lead the Wolves past the Rams.
Romo scattered three hits and struck out 12.
Tech 6, Desert Pines 3— At Desert Pines, starter Amanda Roark had 14 strikeouts in a three-hit complete game as the Roadrunners beat the Jaguars.
Del Sol 26, Chaparral 14 — At Chaparral, Del Sol used an eight-run second inning and a nine-run seventh to down the Cowboys.
Chase Marchello was 4-for-5 for Chaparral. Roxanne Pipitone went 3-for-4 with a triple and a double for Del Sol.
