Roundup: Rancho gets by Silverado on the road

Lorena De La Torre hit a sacrifice fly to drive in Liliana Gutierrez in the bottom of the sixth inning and give Rancho’s softball team a 9-8 victory over visiting Silverado on Tuesday evening.

Gutierrez went 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI, and Kaitlyn Suarez hit a two-run homer for Rancho.

MacKenzie Perry had two hits and two RBIs, and Samantha Paiva supplied two hits and an RBI for the Rams.

Megan Johnson went 4-for-5 with a triple and an RBI, Alezandria Guariglia tripled and drove in a run, and Anna Tucker went 4-for-4 for Silverado.

Dalyse Whiteside added three hits and an RBI for the Skyhawks.

Desert Oasis 15, Sierra Vista 14 — At Desert Oasis, Holly Severance singled home Izriah Hodson from second base with the game winning run in the sixth inning as the Diamondbacks stormed back from a 14-6 deficit to shock the Mountain Lions.

Severance finished 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs and Hodson supplied a double and an inside the park homer for Desert Oasis.

Meaghan McInerney and Fia Tofi each added a home run and two RBIs, and Paisley Garcia was 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI for the Diamondbacks.

Ryan Watkins had a double and two RBIs, and Jamie Kalaau-Sunia had a triple and an RBI for Sierra Vista.

Mia Buranamontri added a double and an RBI for the Mountain Lions.

Bishop Gorman 14, Bonanza 4 — At Bonanza, winning pitcher Darian Pancirov helped herself at the plate by going 4-for-5 with a home run, two doubles and four RBIs to power the Gaels past the Bengals.

Mia Weckel went 5-for-5 with a double and two RBIs, and Monique Passalacqua was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for Gorman, which led 9-3 after six innings and salted the game away with a five run seventh.

Sara Riley went 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Evalynn Sandoval hit a double for Bonanza.

Centennial 13, Arbor View 3 — At Arbor View, Seanna Simpson went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored, and Ashlynn Heck was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run as the Bulldogs drubbed the Aggies in six innings.

Kiana Tate went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs, and Maddie Kallfelz and Natasha Lawrence each hit a double for Centennial, which ripped off 10 runs in the second inning.

Winning pitcher Abby Hanley tossed a complete game, giving up five hits. Roxanne Ines went 2-for-4 for Arbor View.

Liberty 5, Green Valley 3 — At Green Valley, Jessica Meza went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Morgan LaNeve supplied a two run single as the Patriots got past the Gators.

Jasmine Gonzalez supplied two hits and an RBI, and Shelby Carvalho went 2-for-2 for Liberty.

Katrina Ramos was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored, Cristina De Los Angeles had two hits and two RBIs, and Cinthia Garcia went 3-for-3 for Green Valley.

Basic 13, Las Vegas 1 — At Basic, Sanoe Helenihi and Lauren Koshak each homered to help the Wolves rout the Wildcats.

Helenihi finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs, and Koshak was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs.

Shelby Basso pitched a complete game for Basic and struck out nine.

Nicole Forrest hit a home run for Las Vegas.

Foothill 13, Valley 3 — At Foothill, Leah Becker went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, a home run and four RBIs to help the Falcons defeat the Vikings in five innings.

McKenzie Andrews pitched a complete game, and added a double and two RBIs.

Daphyne Weckworth had an RBI for Valley.

Faith Lutheran 11, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Audrey Kirsch had three RBIs, and Ellie Fried was 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI in a decisive win over the Spartans.

Clara Heislen and Maggie Whipple had two RBIs apiece for Faith Lutheran, and Sophie Foster pitched a complete game.

Kaeley Roldan had an RBI for Cimarron.

Eldorado 14, Canyon Springs 4 — At Eldorado, Mariana Maldonado was 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs as the Sundevils coasted by the Pioneers.

Adriana Romero added two doubles and two RBIs, and Roshonda Stevens had three RBIs.

Victoria Spivey was 3-for-3 with 3 RBIs for Canyon Springs.

Spring Valley 16, Clark 1 — At Spring Valley, Talya Ushakoff homered, Camryn Vereen doubled twice and the Grizzlies rolled the Chargers.

Anarica Mungarro was 2-for-2 with three RBIs for Spring Valley.

Sara Najmulski had an RBI for Clark.

Mountain View 12, Calvary Chapel 8 — At Calvary Chapel, Stephanie Haro went 2-for-4 with three RBIs to help the Saints topple the Lions.

Monay Ruiz drove in a pair of runs for Mountain View and starter Miah Fields-Gibbens struck out 13.

Indian Springs 14-14, Tonopah 4-3 — At Indian Springs, Faith Prine had a double and a two-run home run as the Thunderbirds defeated the Muckers in the opener.

Hailey Butler, Aubree Young, Kayla Noyes and Halle Jackson each provided two hits for Indian Springs.

Chanlei Philips finished 3-for-3 to lead Tonopah, and Tessa North supplied two hits for the Muckers.

In the second game, Avery Aspen tossed a complete game with seven strikeouts and went 3-for-3 with three doubles and four RBIs to lift the Thunderbirds over the Muckers.

Kayla Noyes had a double and a triple for Indian Springs, which used a six-run second inning to pull away.

Blaze Snegirev supplied a double and a triple to lead Tonopah.
