Roundup: Pahrump Valley routs Western

Jacquellen Stobbe was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs on Saturday as Pahrump Valley’s softball team rolled to a 20-3, four-inning road win over Western.

Ashleigh Murphy was 3-for-5, and McKayla Bartley, Virginia Weir and Kathryn Daffer each added two hits for the Trojans.

Hailey Cuellar allowed one hit and struck out four in three innings to get the victory.

Western’s Alexis Cho smacked a three-run homer in the bottom of the first.

Faith Lutheran 15, SLAM Academy 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Audrey Kirsch and Megan Davis each went 2-for-3 with two RBis as the Crusaders rolled to the four-inning win over the Bulls.

Davis also scored three runs and pitched three scoreless innings of relief to pick up the victory.

Clara Heislen was 2-for-2 with a run, and Grace Hornsby and Natalie Behmer each had two RBIs for Faith Lutheran, which scored nine runs in the first inning.

Jhanae George tripled for SLAM’s only hit.
