ROUNDUP: Moore drives in four, leads Trailblazers in shutout

Katie Moore went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs Friday to power Durango’s softball team to a 6-0 win at Bonanza.

Mindy Larson was 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI, and Dallas Boyce went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for the Trailblazers.

Boyce also got the win, scattering 10 hits in the shutout.

Kayla Sylvester was 3-for-3, and Cora Borgman went 2-for-2 with a triple for the Bengals.

Desert Oasis 7, Pahrump Valley 3 — At Pahrump, Briona Santovito went 3-for-4 with a double and a triple to help the Diamondbacks down the Trojans.

Emily Heinz added a three-run homer in the sixth inning for Desert Oasis.

Miranda Monje went 3-for-4 with a home run and a double to lead Pahrump.

Legacy 4, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Legacy, Sierra Pico tossed a three-hitter and struck out 11 in leading the Longhorns past the Mustangs.

Alexis Fuller went 2-for-3 with a triple to help Legacy.

Cimarron-Memorial 16, Faith Lutheran 4 — At Faith Lutheran, Sarah Murphy went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBIs to help the Spartans cruise past the Crusaders in six innings.

Kayla Johnson went 3-for-4 for Cimarron, which pulled away with 10 runs in the third inning.

Mandy Young went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs to lead Faith Lutheran, which went hitless after the second inning.

Arbor View 17, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Letty Valenzuela tossed a five-inning three-hitter and was 4-for-4 with a run to help the Aggies rout the Rattlers in five innings.

Spring Valley 19, Western 3 — At Western, Sindy Cummings went 4-for-5 with a home run, a double, three runs and four RBIs as the Grizzlies downed the Warriors in five innings.

Ellie Endsley went 4-for-4 with a double, a run and two RBIs, and Denise Turk was 3-for-3 with three runs and an RBI for Spring Valley.

Brenda Sandoval went 2-for-3 for Western.

Tech 9, Sierra Vista 0 — At Tech, Amanda Roark pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and four RBIs to lead the Roadrunners past the Mountain Lions.

Kimmie Rodriguez finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs, and Jamison Bascom was 2-for-3 with three runs and an RBI for Tech. 

Boulder City 8, Basic 2 — At Boulder City, Karlee Koopman pitched a three-hitter with five strikeouts to lead the Eagles past the Wolves.

Alyssa Ybarra went 3-for-3 with three RBIs for Boulder City.

Cheyenne 19, Virgin Valley 13 — At Mesquite, Tyler Asing was 2-for-6 with a triple and six RBIs, and the Desert Shields scored 12 runs in the first two innings en route to a win over the Bulldogs.

Winning pitcher Alyssa Fata went 4-for-6 with three runs and two RBIs for Cheyenne.

Alora Bonner was 3-for-5 with a double and three RBIs to pace Virgin Valley.

The Meadows 19-21, Calvary Chapel 5-20 — At The Meadows, Eryn Pollard singled, stole second and scored on Robyn Monkarsh’s single in the bottom of the seventh inning of the second game to allow the Mustangs to sweep the Lions.

Monkarsh was a combined 8-for-10 with a home run, three doubles and eight runs scored on the day, and teammate Noelle Young was 8-for-10 with two home runs, three doubles and eight runs scored.

Victoria Onufrieff tossed a five-inning four-hitter in the opener and got the win in relief in the nightcap.

Lincoln County 13-14, Lake Mead 0-1 — At Lake Mead, the Lynx took advantage of eight errors in the opener and 10 in the nightcap to sweep a pair of five-inning games.

The Eagles were held hitless in the opener.

Taylor Badua-Kono went 2-for-2 and scored Lake Mead’s run in the second game.
